"how irritating." (name) thought to himself as he silently walked to the football field where team z and team x will be playing in. ego had tasked (name) to watch over them in case any of them get injured or if there's any foul's. 

the double doors opened up for (name) to enter. he noticed that team x and team z were both already there. just stretching and preparing themselves. (name) leaned on the wall in the corner to watch and observe. he didn't really want to talk with anyone.

the black haired blonde bangs who was sleeping on the floor previously, looked over at isagi with the ball under his foot. "you scared, isagi? let's have fun! you can't win at soccer if you don't!" he said with a wide smile plastered on his face. isagi looked at him with a look of determination. "okay.."

(name) observe the two. isagi seems to rely a lot on him. (name) checked his device to see who this blonde bangs was. "hmm.. bachira meguru." (name) hummed and closed his device to focus back on the game that was happening.

"game start!" the voice from the speaker said and three boy's immediately launched themselves straight at isagi making isagi panic a bit in surprise. isagi paused quickly, stopping the ball with his foot,  he was thinking hard and didn't notice bachira calling for him. "ah! behind you, isagi!"

a look of surprise formed on isagi's face when raichi shoved him away from the ball. stealing it. the look of surprise turned into a look of anger as he began calling raichi out. "huh?! hey! what are you doing?! we are teammates!" isagi yelled. 

raichi looked back at isagi and a wide grin spreaded on his face. "whoever scores the most points wins, right?! i don't care about my teams! i'm gonna do this my own way!" raichi yelled back at isagi and was about to run away with the ball but was stopped by kunigami. 

"fair enough raichi. if that's the way things are done here.. then i'll fight solo too. fair and square." kunigami said looking back at the furious raichi who had an irk mark on his cheek.

raichi's grin widened slightly in anger. "sounds like we'll get along just fine.. kunigami. raichi huffed and tried to shove kunigami away from the ball with his hand which kunigami easily deflected. "move it!" raichi hissed while kunigami glared at raichi. "no, you!"

(name)'s lips pressed into a thin line as he thought of how childish the two were being. fighting over a ball like that. they clearly didn't think it thoroughly as someone from team x easily took the ball out of their grasp. 

another boy from the same team x took the ball as well. now they all were fighting over the ball. (name) facepalmed and sighed. was this really ego's plan to boost their egos? at this rate it isn't soccer but a children quarreling over some candies.

(name)'s thought were disturbed when a black, turnip-haired boy took the ball swiftly from his teammates and the rest of team z. "mmh.. shoei barou." (name) hummed as he observed barou dodging everyone's attempt to stop him.

barou easily scored into the net causing panic to rise to team z's face. a look of defeat on isagi's face when he held the ball in his hands.

the second match soon began and isagi called out for bachira. "bachira! lets pass back and forth between us!" bachira gave isagi a thumbs up. "okay!" isagi passed the ball to bachira but was stopped by igaguri who called isagi stupid.

igaguri wooshed away with the ball and a determined grin on his face while yelling something (name) didn't care about. of course, as (name) had anticipated. the ball was stolen by the other team easily due to igaguri's carelessness. 

the two boys who stole the ball passed it to barou and the ball lands on barou's chest with ease. isagi's eyes widened as he realized that team x was starting to work together. most of team z covered barou from the front but barou did a backheel kick to his teammate behind him than team x scored again.

and from another point to another, team x has reached five points quickly. (name) could see the pure look of horror in team z's eyes but one caught his attention. isagi yoichi. (name) noticed that instead of fear, he had a look of determination to change the scoreboard.

(name)'s eyes dart back and forth. focusing on isagi's movements intently. isagi was about to shoot the ball but barou went right in front of isagi. trying to block isagi's goal. (name) sighed as team z began yelling at isagi to pass the ball, so he turned his noise cancelling headphones on.

isagi ended up passing the ball to kunigami and kunigami was able to win one point for team z. (name) could see the look of sadness and distress in isagi's eyes. since he wasn't able to win a point for their team.

soon, everyone in the field had left to shower and change. leaving isagi who was just sitting on the ground. (name) quietly approached him and slapped isagi's back lightly. "isagi." (name) called out as isagi turned his head to face (name).

"(name)..? what are you doing here?" isagi asked in a low, tired tone. (name) took his headphones off and looked down at isagi. "to achieve this impossible tasks, it sounds like you'll need to fool your own heart first. Although it may feel like a trick, self-encouragement may be the most important tool we have." (name) said and turned around to leave. a look of surprise was plastered on isagi's face as he listened to (name)'s words.

isagi repeated the words (name) said in his heart and the sadness and frustration in his eyes turned into one of determination once more. "thank you, (name)." isagi thought to himself as his eyes looked at the area where (name) had left from.

(name) walked through the halls blankly and paused noticing his device turned into ego's face. ego smirked through the screen. "funny seeing someone like you encourage someone." ego teased making (name) glare at him through the screen.

"since when was it your problem?" (name) retorted back at ego. ego's smirk widened as he started to speak again. "well it's just odd seeing someone as insufferable and insensitive as you try to encourage someone."

(name) deadpanned as he listened to ego teasing and making fun of him before turning off his device and going back to walking. meanwhile.. ego is his office. his eyes twitching in irritation because (name) just turned his device off without another thought.
