*This is a story I made a year ago for a small short story project in ELA (English language arts) class. I guess school did one good thing for me. I don't want to take credit because the picture above wasn't made by me. I found it on google images.
Warning: this is a cliffhanger.*

One day, in my house, something VERY weird happened. My father punished me for not doing my homework (that isn't the weird thing, but you'll learn later.) I was so mad that I wrote some random numbers on the wall: 62442. Then, a door from what seemed to be a cupboard appeared. I opened the door and saw a boy's small bedroom. I realized that it looked just like the "cupboard under the stairs" from the H͛a͛r͛r͛y͛ P͛o͛t͛t͛e͛r͛ movies. I watched the movies with my parents just a week ago. I was stuck in this mysterious bedroom, cause I couldn't get out! Soon, I got so bored that I whistled the Hedwig's Theme (the tune that was in the movie; it was stuck in my head for a few days.) Then, even more surprising, another door appeared. I opened it and saw the "Ministry of magic," of course from the H͛a͛r͛r͛y͛ P͛o͛t͛t͛e͛r͛ movies, which was aggressively scaring me and amazing me at the point. Later, I realized how I observed that when Mr. Weasley, from H͛a͛r͛r͛y͛ P͛o͛t͛t͛e͛r͛ went into the telephone booth and typed 62442 while watching one of the movies. While freaking out, I started to put the puzzle together. The numbers that I wrote on the wall was the same numbers that you would type to get into the "Ministry of Magic!" Since thinking a lot seemed to do me some good, I thought of how the numbers 62442 can relate to trying to text with a telephone (the old kind that you need to click a number a certain amount of times to get a letter.) I soon figured out that if you tried using that type of phone, and type those numbers, you'll get the word: magic. Well, what a coincidence! Finally, I started to think about more important things: Should I explore this magical world, and should I even try to go back home?
