ZACHARIAH DUANE SILVESTRE
POV II

Address: Mendoza.Marviella_@gmail.com
Subject: Applying for Secretarial Position

I almost spewed out the wine inside my mouth when I read the email I received. I slowly put down the wine glass and massage the bridge of my nose while reading the cover letter I received.

She did apply after five years, huh?

I've been waiting for her to apply as secretary since I returned to the Philippines and started working as the newest CEO of Silvercrest. What took her so long?

I sighed heavily and looked up. Kumusta na kaya siya ngayon?

It's been almost five years since I saw her. Years passed, and I still couldn't stop thinking of her. I didn't even go out with other people because I felt like I was cheating on her.

Ariella

She hurt me a lot... I want to get mad at her, but I can't. My love for her is enough for me not to hate her. I understand her reasons why she broke up with me.

No one knows how much I cried that day.

After the day we broke up, lumipad na ako paalis ng bansa. What's the point in staying here, then?

Years ago, I was happy to leave, but now that I'm here in another country, I feel so empty.

I'm just glad that I bought my belt bag with me, nandoon 'yong passport, wallet, at cellphone ko. Kahit paano may nadala ako.

AFTER two years of apprenticeship in Gensler, one of the most popular Architecture firms in the world, I decided to study in a flight school. My uncle encouraged me to do so since I knew how to navigate a plane. It's a small world because I found out that he was the ex-boyfriend of Architect Montesilva. She was the only girl I became friends with since my journey in the USA.

My license is a PPL or a Private Pilot license since being a Pilot is just a hobby for me. I'm already a licensed Architect, and after three years, I'm going back to the Philippines. My journey wasn't easy, but it was worth it.

"Welcome home, Son!" My mom gave me a tight hug and a kiss on the cheeks.

"Thanks, Mom,"  I gave her a hug and small smile. Then, Dad and Croisx did the same.

"Welcome home, Archi-lot," Croisx uttered.

"What?"

"Architect-Pilot," He smirked, which made me smirked too.

Now that I'm back, My next goal is to be the newly appointed CEO of Silvercrest, which I became after months of getting home in the Philippines.

WHEN I started building my own firm, I contacted my best friend Hunter and Leoniel, who are now a licensed Architects and Engineers, to work under my firm. I named My firm ZDS Buildings & Structures, just like she wanted.
