„Darling?" Lizzie calls out from the hallway. But it didn't sound like a worried call, but like an amusing call. Very relaxed, I get up and make my way to her. In front of the room of our 5-year-old daughter Ava, I'll stop.
„talk to her" says Lizzie, while she is at the door. A used and crying Ava sits on the bed. „What's up princess" you tell me a pout while you kneel at her bed. Ava doesn't have her say in all crying. „I heard you scream" She says while rubbing her eyes with her little hands „All is well, my princess"
„I tried to go into the room because you screamed, but the door was locked" I was trying to hide my smile. „I'm sorry, but it's all okay. I just pushed my toe" „Okay mummy" she replies while trying to cover herself up again. „Everything is fine, good night" I say and give her a kiss on the cheek. Slowly I get up and walk towards the door frame in the Lizzie still standing. I walked past her and ran into the kitchen while she said good night to our daughter. When she then also went into the kitchen, she wrapped her arms around my hip. „Unfortunately, you have to be quiet next time, baby" While she said that, she spread kisses on my neck. After a small make-out session, I decided to go back to bed because I had to get up again at 06:00. When I was about to start running, Lizzie gave me a slap on the butt. When I turned my head slightly, I noticed how she also stared clearly at my butt. On the way to the bedroom, I smiled.
When I tried to fall asleep again, I noticed how the mattress lowered slightly. Suddenly a soft voice spoke to me „Mom, are you sleeping yet?" I actually wouldn't have expected Ava. When I was about to nod, I realized that she wouldn't see it because it was relatively dark. „No, honey" After that, I only noticed two arms that snakes around my stomach and her head that lay on my chest. I loved this child with everything I had. „As I see, you have made yourself comfortable" Lizzie said as she ran towards us.
I had closed my eyes and only gave a „mhm" as an answer, a smile could not stop you. Now I noticed a few more pair of arms. I felt like a dog that is touched by everyone. However, I didn't think it was bad.
„I love you"
I heard Lizzie say while she was trying to give me a kiss. What she didn't succeed, because Ava's head was in the way. However, she was in deep sleep.
„I love you too"
I said after the kiss. And so I fell asleep with my little perfect family.
