"Is that really you?" I asked
"Sophie." She smiled
She rushed over and hugged me as tears streamed down my cheeks.
"How?" I asked her
"I haven't seen you since mums sister took you from us." I said
"I escaped." She says
"You've grown." She smiles
"I have." I smiled back
"I've gotta go to mystic falls." I said softly
"We will catch up, don't worry." She says
She kissed my forehead softly and I walked out of the front door.
The taxi arrived as Kol and I got in and we headed for mystic falls.
We made it to mystic falls and I bumped into a girl at the mystic grill.
"Sorry." I said softly
"Katherine." I said shocked
"I'm Elena." She smiled
"Kol mikaelson." She says coldly
"You know my brother?" I asked her
"Your a mikaelson." She said shocked
"I am." I nodded
"I better go." She says quickly
"Who is she?" I asked
"And why does she look like Katherine." I say
"Short story is she's a doppelgänger, so is Katherine about four of them exist all together." He says
"Oh wow." I said shocked
We walked into the mystic grill and she was sat at the table with damon Salvatore.
"Is that damon?" I asked
"It is." Kol nodded
"Where's stefan?" I asked him
"H-he died". He said softly
"I'm sorry what?" I said shocked
"I'm sorry kid. I know he was your best friend." He says
I got up and I rushed over to Damon as he looked at me shocked.
"Sophie." He said
"Is it true?" I asked
"Is Stefan dead." I said as tears fell
"He is, he killed Katherine." He nodded
"Katherine's dead." I said sadly
"I'm sorry." He sighed
"She went off the rails." He says
*Flashback*
I was sitting down in a diner as I was waiting for Katherine to come.
My brother had been hunting her for years so only the others knew she was my best friend and nobody told Niklaus.
