Tubbo's POV:

I arrived back home, tired out from the long day. This relaxed feeling didn't last long, however, as there was a note taped to my door.

Hello Tubbo! It read.

Since you've now joined the sixth period concert band, your initiation is set to begin. Follow your clue to arrive at the starting destination.
You can work alone, or with friends. Take as long as you need.

- The Dream Team

My eyebrows furrowed slightly, a small frown creasing my mouth.

I quickly ripped it from the door, using my key to get into the house. My parents probably wouldn't be home for another hour or two.

Best thing to do?

Well... it did say I could work with my friends. And, it would be a good way to get to know the other freshman better.

I pulled out my phone, making a new group chat and sending a text.

Tubbo: did everyone get that weird letter?

Tommy: yeah, I did

Erin: same

Fundy: what are we doing about it?

Tubbo: I was thinking we could go check out the location together? Seems safer than being alone

Charlie: 👍

Erin: wait, so what's the first clue?

Tommy: something about some fucking... flower bed?

Charlie: it says 'we'll give you something easy for a trial:

where students dwell during the day
count the beds where flowers lay
on violet street, that number home
will welcome you, lest you go alone.'

I read my clue, and sure enough, it was the same.

Erin: so, any ideas?

Tubbo: let's meet up outside the school to talk, maybe?

Fundy: agreed. See you all in ten?

I placed my phone back into my pocket, crinkling the note in as well.
Who knew the 'initiation' for my new school would require social interaction?

Once I was out the door, it was a short walk to the school gate.

I waved at Fundy and Erin as I got steadily closer, Tommy rushing past me at the last second and shooting me finger guns.

Charlie showed up about a minute later, and we began to discuss the plans.

"Alright... where students dwell during the day... count the beds where flowers lay?" Erin began, pausing to think.

"Hey, isn't there a field by the study hall?" I realized, eyes shining. "Let's go!" Tommy cheered, immediately running off.

"Here we go, I guess," Fundy chuckled before chasing him.

We finally made it, everyone out of breath but Charlie, who hadn't ran with us and had opted to walk instead.

"What was the next part? It said something about Violet street, right?" He asked, and Fundy nodded.

"Yeah. But there isn't a Violet street anywhere but Arizona, I already checked." He clarified, and I blankly scanned the field.

"Right, so call me an idiot, but there are some purple flowers over there..." I trailed off, pointing at the nearby blooms. "Enough to make a road?"

They didn't seem to hear me very well, but Erin sent me a small nod and began to walk in the direction. The rest of the group followed us, so it was mission accomplished anyhow.

There was a coven of trees surrounding the flowers, and a small path leading down it.

How the seniors got permission to do this, I'll never know.

With that, we approached the lighter part of the mini forest. A house came into view, two stories.

"What the hell...?" Tommy muttered softly, and honestly I couldn't agree more.

When we got into view of the windows, the tall blonde senior walked out to greet us.

"Congrats on beating the band initiation!"
