I kicked him on the nuts as hard as I could, and he doubled over in pain.
“What the hell, Ellen,” he gasped for air.
“Jason, what the hell are you doing here?” I replied sourly.
“Ellen… While you were busy with your wolf stuff, I was attending school. Here,” he smirked.
“I didn’t know you were in college,” I gasped.
“I’m 24…”
“OH MY GOD. You’re the same age as Damien! Do you have any classes with him?! Is he your friend? Where is he?!!!”
“All you can ever think about is him, huh.” Jason smirked.
“Yup, I can’t stop thinking about him.”
“You do know that the fight is coming soon, right?” Jason questioned.
“What the- I totally forgot!”I gulped.

“Shut up!” I screamed mentally.
“Well, try not to be close with him, cause he might be the one that kills you, again…”
“He would never try to kill me!” I yelled.
“Woah there, calm down. I only want what’s best for you,” he sighed.
“Why?” I questioned.
“We ARE mates, after all…” Jason said sadly.
“Oh, yeahh…” I said
“You forgot, didn’t you?” Jason asked simply.
“I’m sorry…” I said.
“It’s not your fault. I know how much you love him. But I don’t know why…”
“Me either…”
“Hey, by the way, Alicia goes to this school.” Jason grinned.
“ALICIA? AS IN ALICIA MY BEST FRIEND FROM HIGHSCHOOL?!”I screamed.
“Yup. But I doubt she’s here. She always finds a way to skip or something…” Jason smirked.
“Oh…”
“But Damien is in my next class”
“OH MY LORD. TAKE ME THEREEE.”
All of a sudden, I bumped into someone with very long, teased blond hair.
“Sorry-”I got cut off as I saw Alicia.
“DUDE, WHY THE HELL DID YOU LEAVE ME?!” I screamed.
“Not so loud, Ellen. They’ll hear us…”
I pulled her out and sat her down in my car and wordlessly drove to the nearest coffee shop.
“Explain. Now.”
“Well, that school is like 70% vampires.”
“What the hell?!”
“That’s right. And I’m a werewolf.” She chuckled.
“That’s impossible. You would’ve been a part of our pack…”
“I’m a loner, just like my dead father was.”
“Then why are you going to this… school?”
“My brother goes here.”
“Is your brother a werewolf too?”
“Well, he was supposed to be.”
“Oh, so now he’s a vampire.”I joked.
“He’s half vampire. You might know him. His name is Damien.”
