Emily's P.O.V:
"Hey Em, you know how we got onto the waiting list to adopt another kids?" Maya asks as she walked down the stair and into the kitchen where I was currently making dinner.
"Ya, was that who just called?" I stopped stirring the cooking noodles and turned to her while I asked.
"Yup and guess what?"
"What?" I already knew what she is going to say, but I thought I would play along.
"They found a child they thought would be perfect for us. She's a two month old named Chloe, from Kenya."
"Did you tell them that's perfect?"
"Yup and they're going to fly her in soon."
