Chapter 12:
Noel's P.O.V:
"Dereck, mommy doesn't hate you. She loves you. She just might not be in the right place with herself. She just doesn't love me, she doesn't like me. She loves you, okay. Don't you ever forget that." After that I sent him to his room to do his homework.
Our marriage was a lie. Everything was a lie. Did she really love Dereck or Jacob?
She choose to leave. It's high school all over again. She left and I'm done.
I went down the hall and into my office. I pulled out the card our "family" lawyer. I dialed the number and waited for an answer.
"Hello Noel, is this about Alison?"
"Yes, but not for the reason your thinking. I want a divorce."
"Why all of a sudden?"
"Dereck saw her and she ran away from him. She isn't missing. She's hiding."
