Chapter 10:
Dereck's P.O.V:
"Bye class." My teacher called out to everyone as we fled out into the hallways and out of school.
I turned the corner and there was my mom just down the road from me.
"Mommy! Mom wait up!" I called out to her, running towards her.
She turned around and I saw her face. It's for sure her. She's back. I'm going to have a normal family again.
Once she saw my face she ran. My mom ran away from me.
I didn't want to go home and face my brother and dad, if he's even home. I don't know how I could tell them or keep this from them. I guess. I have to tell them, but I don't know how.
