We are excited to announce our Bootcamp Mentors for the 2023 Wattys season! This is the part where you learn a little something about each of our mentors. You will find their bios in the chapters following this one. We encourage you to read through each one and make a note of any mentor who sounds like they might get you and your writing style. Then use the link at the bottom of each mentor bio to visit their profile and read their mentor wish list. This wish list describes which types of stories they will accept and which stories they won't.
The submission window opens on May 10th and closes on May 15th at 11:59pm Eastern time. You can only choose 3 (three) mentors when you apply, so doing your research ahead of time will increase the chances that your story will get into the right hands.

Stay updated during the submission window
During the submission window (May 10th through May 15th) we will post the number of applicants for each mentor behind the mentor's name. This will give you an idea of the competition. The stats will be updated every day at around noon Eastern time.
