Feelings

No one's POV:
Wally woke up in his less then comforting home. Wally didn't mind home's odd sentients, he found it nice. "Good morning home." Wally called out sleepily with a slight grin on his face. Home creaked back happily in response. Wally fixed up his hair, put on his favourite outfit and got ready for the day. He took a stroll through the neighbourhood and met up with Julie. Since it was Sunday, howdy had closed up shop for the day. Howdy walked outside and saw Wally and Julie talking.

Wally's POV:
I went out for a stroll and saw one of my best friends Julie. "Hey Wally!" Julie called out to me. I smiled and waved back at her. "Hello Julie, how has your morning been so far?" I asked with a friendly smile. "I've been alright! I was just going to see howdy since he said I could pick up a cake for my brother's birthday today." She smiled at me. I tilted my head, confused. "I thought howdy's shop was closed on Sundays." I said. "It is but not if you have to pick something up! Care to join me?" She asked politely. "Sure I have nothing better to do." I agreed as we proceed to walk down to howdy's shop. I'm excited to meet howdy, I enjoy being around him plus he's super cute to.

Howdy's POV:
I stood at the front of the store waiting for Julie since she needed to pick something up today. "Hi howdy!" I heard Julie's voice and looked up. I was about to greet her when I say a particularly adorable little darling walking next to her. "Uh, hey guys!" I greeted them, trying to distract myself from my flushed face. "Are you alright howdy? You seem kind of red." Wally asked softly with his angelic voice, god I love him. "Yep! I'm alright! Care for an apple Wally?" I asked awkwardly holding an apple in my hand. "I'd love one! Thank you howdy." He smiled at me. "The cake is on the counter Julie." I pointed towards the counter with one arm while giving Wally an apple with the other.

Wally's POV:
Julie thanked howdy and left with the cake. I was about to leave to when the handsome caterpillar called out to me. "Hey uh- Wally do you maybe want to hang out?" He asked grinning. "I'd be delighted!" I responded immediately with a smile. Any extra time with him is like heaven. We grabbed some food from shop and a blanket, we decided to have a picnic in a field not to far from the neighbourhood. We sat down under the cherry blossom trees and placed the food nicely on the blanket. I looked up at him, mesmerised by his beauty. He looked down at me and we locked eyes. I could feel my face heat up and quickly looked away. Howdy giggled and I chuckled myself. I looked back at howdy, wondering if now was a good time to tell him something I had been hiding for ages..

Howdy's POV:
Wally stared at me, but it wasn't the usual look he stared with you at..no it was a loving stare a stare so strong and caring that it could make your heart melt. I placed one of my hands on his and stared at him with the same loving look he gave me. "Howdy...Howdy do you um.." he stumbled on his words. "Yes darling?" I asked him with a smile. OH GOD WAIT WHY DID I SAY THAT? I DONT EVEN KNOW IF HE'S GAY! His face flushed an even darker red. "I-I um I need to go.." Wally quickly got up and ran off back to the neighbourhood. He left before I had the chance to tell him I loved him..my heart sank as I packed away the picnic. I will tell him I like him!..I need to find out if he's gay first though..
