Day out

(Since you guys wanted it, WALLY AND HOWDY ON A PICNIC DATE‼️ idk who gave me the idea but if you're reading this you'll know if it was you. Enjoy!)

No one's POV:
Wally had invited Howdy to go out with him, which wasn't anything unusual since the two had been spending more time with each other after the party. However this one was special! Well it was to Wally. After Wally very stupidly ran off during his last picnic with Howdy, Wally decided to have a picnic date. Wally rushed around grabbing all the things he'd need and Julie was kind enough to get him flowers from her garden to give to Howdy. Ever since the party fiasco Julie and sally started dating. Julie and Wally always said they'd go on a double date but they never found any time that worked for both of them, so Julie did the best she could to help Wally.

Wally's POV:
AAAAAA IM SO EXCITED! but also nervous. Last time we had a picnic date(?) I completely screwed it up but now me and Howdy are together so it'll be completely different! I hope. I quickly rushed over to his place and very violently knocked on his door. "Hey sweetheart! Why are you banging on my door? What did it to do you?" He asked with a smile. I giggled at his joke. "Oh shush, anyway COME ON LETS GOOO!" I yelled jumping up and down. "Well I can tell you're excited." He laughed.

We made our way down to a little forest with a river not to far from it. I kept picking up rocks and giving them to Howdy because I thought he'd like them. He did, but only if they weren't covered in mud. We set up and picnic and relaxed under the trees. I laid my head on his arm as we looked out at the river. "It's so pretty." He commented. "Not as pretty as you." I smiled when I heard him giggle. It's like music to my ears. Suddenly I got an idea. A wonderfully bad idea.

Howdy's POV:
Wally stared at me with a smirk on his face. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I awkwardly laughed. His smirk turned into a smile as he started giggling to himself. "Hey, what's so funny?" I asked looking down at him. "Don't worry about it." He smiled at me and turned the other way so he was facing the other side of the forest. Hm..odd. "I want to get closer to the river, you want to come?" He asked smiling at me. How could I say no to that face? "Of course!" I immediately replied. I got up and held his hand as we made our way to the river.

"Can you tell me why you were smiling at me earlier?" I asked him once we reached the edge of the river. "I was smiling because I was thinking about doing..THIS!" he yelled before pushing me into the river. "WALLY!" I yelled at him while he was laughing his head off. I grabbed his arm and pulled him in with me. We both started laughing at each other, he looks so silly with his hair down. We got out and went back to the neighbourhood. He's an idiot..but he's my idiot.
