Wally's POV:
What the actual hell was that Wally? You idiot. You can't let your feelings get in the way of this friendship. Howdy is a friend and nothing more. It's normal to feel this fluttery feeling in your stomach when you think about friends..right? Gosh..I really screwed up. If I stop talking to him, then everything should go back to normal, yea.

No one's POV:
Wally had spent the entire day telling Barnaby about how embarrassing the situation was. But Barnaby being the bestest friend there is comforted Wally and made sure to let him know that any problem can be fixed with some communication. Communicate was the last thing Wally wanted to do. How could he face Howdy after such an embarrassing experience? He just ran off! No explication! How stupid indeed. Wally had only recently realised he was bisexual after catching feelings for Howdy.

"I'll have to get over these feelings. Their just feelings after all! There is no way Howdy could ever return those feelings anyway." Wally confessed to Barnaby about his feelings for Howdy. "Come on dude just tell him!" Barnaby encouraged his bestie. "No Barnaby! I can't I just..I can't face him after the fool I made of myself." Wally buried his face in his pillow to muffle his words, however Barnaby had great hearing so no matter how deep he buried his face his friend could still hear him.
"I have an idea! What if we have a party at my place, invite the entire neighbourhood and you and Howdy can talk it out!" Barnaby announced excitedly. Wally sighed reluctantly. "I suppose that could work..but can we not do it tonight? I don't have the heart to face him right now.." Wally asked. "Of course bud..how about tomorrow night?" Barnaby asked in reply.

Wally looked at the ground and then back up at Barnaby. "Sure, might as well get it over with." He commented looking at a wall. "Great! I have to go home now since it's already 10pm, I'll send out invitations tomorrow morning and I'll see you there! Good night Wally!" Barnaby Beamed before exiting Wally's house. Wally got up and fell backwards onto his bed before letting out a tired groan. "Why did love have to be so complicated? Why did feelings have to exist?" Wally wondered. "Damn these stupid feelings for making me act like this!" Wally yelled at himself. He got ready for bed and tucked himself under the covers. "Goodnight home.." Wally called out sleepily which home responded to with a quiet thud. Wally drifted off to sleep along with the rest of the neighbourhood. He tried not to think about Howdy and what had happened but that's all his mind could focus on. But eventually, he was greeted with dreams.

The next morning..

Howdy's POV:
I got out of bed and rushed around my house, fixing things up and getting ready for the day ahead. I tried to focus on what needed to be done but all I could think about was yesterday, my hand on Wally's..his cute little face..his perfect smile and soothing voice. I hope he stops by today, I really want to speak to him about yesterday. I walked outside to put out some fruits when I saw Barnaby running towards me. "Sup Howdy!" He greeted me. "Hey Barnaby you usually don't come here all that often..what's the occasion?" I asked with a grin. "Oh right! Well I'm having a party this evening." He proceeded to hand me an envelope. "Details are on the paper inside, hope you can make it Howdy!" He said cheerfully before running off again. A party huh? I guess I'll go I have nothing better to do anyway. I stalk up all the fruits and walk back inside to the counter.

Suddenly I saw Eddie and Wally walking towards the shop. Finally I can talk to Wally! God I've been dying to hear his voice again..is that weird? Eddie and Wally entered the store. "Heya Howdy! Just dropping off some mail." Eddie said with a smile as he passed me a few envelopes. I thanked him and watched him walk out the door. I turned my attention to Wally who was eyeing the apples like always. I tried to think of the right thing to say but I couldn't manage to muster any words. Wally sighed and walked out the door. That was odd..even for Wally I hope he's alright. Oh my god I completely blew my chance to talk to him! Damn it! Whatever, I'll talk to him at Barnaby's party tonight. I hope he comes.
