Love For The Villainess

Prologue

Narration
When Layla woke up, she was in a worn down bedroom lying in bed.

Where is this place? I can hear kids playing and laughing.

The room looked old, with spiderwebs and dust everywhere.

The only place that was neat was the bed and mirror.

I couldn't understand why I'm here?

I got up and headed towards the window, Two children we're playing tag, laughing.

I looked around the huge room, Before finding a Vanity and looking into the mirror and saw that I was a child and had white hair.

I touch my face and my hair and the girl in the mirror copied my action. I started trying to do other expressions or movements and each time it was the same.

I could see my body wearing a fancy dress and uncomfortable heels.

Well, still being confused, I heard a noise and turned my head to see the door creek open, a women came in carrying a tray, almost falling backwards when our eyes met.

She looked terrified and quickly ran out of room, taking the tray with her.

I decided to sit down and try to think of what happened, trying to recall something, when I starting hearing ringing in my ears. reflexively put my hand on my forehead, leaning forward.

Suddenly, memories start showing up. The scene from earlier played in my head.

"Lady Blair, what are you doing?"

The man approached the fallen girl at once.

"Lilliana, are you alright?"

"I'm all right, sir. Never mind."

Lilliana? Sir?

A word that was out of the blue and somewhat familiar.

I knew without looking in the mirror that I had a stupid look on my face.

What the hell is this? Is it a dream?

Nothing could explain this situation except a dream.

The man opened his mouth

"I won't say too much. Stop making a fuss and go back."

My own palm slapped her cheek.

What should I do?

It was like something I've heard or seen in a novel I once read.

The heroine is none other than Lilliana Solen, She was as beautiful as described in the novel, even though her hair was tangled from playing outside.

There was the male lead called Levi who also had white hair and a tattoo on his face that labeled him as a slave before the duke found him and took him in, with Lilliana begging he stay.

I eventually lost track of time, and now the sun was completely gone, and I heard a voice say,

"Dinner is ready."

I was thinking maybe I would go out to the dining room and eat with my so-called family, but what happened next surprised me.

After opening the door, the maid shoved the food into my hands and, in an intimidating voice, said,

"Since you have been misbehaving, they have ordered me to bring you dinner; you are not allowed outside of your room until tomorrow!"

then she shut the door, locking it before saying,

"Have a good night!"

After a moment, I collected myself and put the food down.

Then I sat on the bench, crossed my legs, and thought back on what happened.
