CHAPTER 16

HEAVEN AND BACK.

"Alright, so we have one more question for you Ms. L/n." The interrogator flipped another page of his notepad. "What was your relationship with Vince?"

You weren't sure what they wanted you to say, so you could only go with the truth and hope for the best. "He forcibly got me to be his 'girlfriend' so apparently the both of us would be able to in his words 'earn more'."

The male in front of you scribbled down a bunch of words that you weren't able to quite read. "Based on this-"

BAM!

Sirens went off and the interrogator immediately folded over the page he was just scribbling on.

A wall of bars immediately fell down on all sides of the room before a complete bar of iron wall fell down.

It was somewhere in the time when everything was falling when the older male in the room with you had left.

Panic had set in and you stood up from your chair, looking in every direction. There wasn't a single window or door at all.

Whatever's going on most likely won't affect you, but hell this definitely wasn't a situation you wanted to be in.

"As long as this place doesn't get bombed, I'll be fine." You took a deep breath. "You'll be fine Y/n, hopefully."

And then a crack sounded. You weren't sure what it was, so you assumed the worst.

Everything seemed to happen so quickly, you couldn't settle down at all.

Then the sound of a cutting machine drilling through started. It was coming from the ceiling along with the flying of red sparks.

As the cut on the ceiling grew, you grabbed the chair and took a few steps away from the center of the room.

Once the ceiling had been entirely cut through, you watched anxiously as the chunk of ceiling tile was lifted. Your grip on the legs of the chair tightened while your heart raced.

"Hey, Y/n." A familiar voice started.

Your grip on the metal slightly loosened as you watched a platinum blonde jump down.

Slowly, you set down your chair, but you kept your distance. "Chishiya?"

"I hate seeing you being kept in such a filthy room." His voice was barely audible over the loud sirens as he walked towards you. "Let me help you, hm?"

"Chishiya, I don't think that this is the best course of action.. we'd both be in deep shit if either of us gets caught."

"I can make sure we don't." He gave you a smirk.

Your friend's eyes looked different than when they usually did; they were much darker. He was definitely hiding something from you.

Backing up, you weren't in range of the chair anymore. "Chishiya.."

"Hey, I'm just here for you. I'm not going to hurt you, okay?"

Within a second, he had you pinned to the wall, your back facing him. "What the f-"

"Now I finally have you, Y/n." You felt a needle like through the skin on your neck. "Sleep well, love."
