Finn decided to leave late last night. His mother called and told him he needed to spend time with his family. I've been up since. I need the item that contains my future. It's now 10 am and the mail man comes to my house around 10:30.
After 30 minutes past I went outside and waited for the mail man. A couple minutes later the mail man showed up. I ran up to him and he handed me a stack of mail.

Wait! My NYADA letter. I dropped everything else and picked up the letter. Slowly and care fully I opened the letter. I unfolded the content and began reading it.
Dear Rachel Berry,
I'm sorry to inform you that you have not been selected to study at NYADA. You are indeed talented but we have no slots open. We also had a look at your record. We do not want to have a bad influence on the men and women studying here. NYADA is a safe environment. We tried to look past your record and just on your talent but you have had too many visits to the police. If you can show us you can follow the rules then we would love for you to try next year.

I stared at the letter and read it over and over again. I was suppose to get in. But I will not give up. I am going to go to New York and I will change. I will show people I can have a future with a good education. I am determined to change my bad girl status.
