Turbulence of the Heart

As the plane soared high above the clouds, Taehyung was engrossed in an animated conversation with Jimin on his phone. Meanwhile, Jeongguk was seated beside him, poring over a stack of important documents that Soobin had sent.

After exchanging heartfelt farewells with Jimin, Taehyung stood up, stretching slightly as he gained Jeongguk's attention. The moment their eyes met, Jeongguk looked up from his papers, his expression shifting to one of concern.

"What happened, baby? Do you need something?" he asked, his voice imbued with genuine care.

Taehyung returned his gaze with a bright smile. "Nothing happened, love. I was just going to use the restroom," he replied, his tone light and teasing, as if to reassure Jeongguk that all was well.

"Okay. Be careful," Jeongguk said, a hint of protectiveness lacing his words. He watched as Taehyung made his way down the aisle, a small sigh escaping his lips as he returned to the documents. His thoughts lingered on Taehyung's cheerful demeanor, a warmth spreading through him at the sight of his baby.

As Taehyung emerged from the restroom, he saw some flight attendants giggling and talking.

"He is so good-looking," one of them remarked, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

"Yes, and he's so respectful, too. When I was serving him, he didn't give me any creepy eyes at all; he spoke to me in such a polite tone," another attendant added, her smile widening as she reminisced.

A third flight attendant chimed in with playful sarcasm, "Well, you are definitely not that good-looking for that handsome hunk to pay you any attention."

"Shut up, Eun! That guy really is respectful," the second attendant shot back, her tone a mix of defense and enthusiasm. "You don't have to be beautiful to get creepy eyes. Nowadays, you don't even have to be young or a girl to experience that!"

"Excuses! You all just don't know how to seduce a man," Eun proclaimed confidently, blowing on her nails with an air of self-assurance. "He'll be wrapped around my finger."

"Don't be overconfident, Eun," the second attendant countered, shaking her head as she began to walk away with the others. "He's not like the other guys who'll just run after a girl."

Eun waved her hand dismissively. "Well, every guy is the same. Just like dogs, you throw them some bones, and they'll come running after you. And you, Mr. Respectful, will be mine by the time we land." She pointed directly at the man they were discussing.

Taehyung followed her gaze, and his heart dropped when he realized she was indicating Jeongguk. A surge of anger coursed through him, and he felt his blood boil. How could she talk about his Ggukie like that? The possessive instinct within him flared up, and he felt an overwhelming urge to protect what was his.

'Let's see how you will make My Ggukie yours,' he thought as he glared at her and went towards his seat.

With a determined expression, Taehyung marched back toward Jeongguk, ready to reclaim his space and make it clear that there was no competition. He wouldn't let anyone undermine the connection they shared. As he approached, he couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and protectiveness, fully aware that Jeongguk was his, and he intended to make that very clear.

"What happened, baby?" Jeongguk questioned. His voice was laced with concern.

"Huh? Nothing happened. Why do you ask?" Taehyung countered, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

Jeongguk's expression softened as he focused entirely on Taehyung. "When you left, you seemed happy, but now you've come back with a fiery demeanor. Did someone say something to you? Tell me."
