In his room, Solar fiddled with his smartphone to look up information about Earth as Kaizo had suggested. He read that the economies of many countries had recovered from the pandemic and subsequent alien attack. Mines had been reopened and more sophisticated and safe methods of transporting mining products had been devised. The UN-backed alliance was also still functioning, training its troops with support from TAPOPS. Maskmana's name came up several times. Solar was thankful the superhero was okay. It wasn't like Earth would be fine without him.

Solar didn't bother with how the internet worked in space. There was so much cutting-edge technology on TAPOPS that Earth humans might never have thought of. Maybe it wasn't even called the 'internet' here. Solar moved on to the astronomy subtopic and searched for anything about the Morning Star, aka Venus, but there was nothing unusual.

"High tides more often...?" muttered Solar as he scanned the climate and geography subtopic. "Oh, there's going to be a solar eclipse tomorrow, apparently."

Solar only knew about solar eclipses from books at school. All he knows was that the moon is positioned between the sun and Earth during an eclipse. In that position, the gravity of both the sun and the moon is at its maximum. The eclipse was expected to last five minutes at most.

Something suddenly clicked in Solar's mind. He checked Venus' current coordinates and calculated the speed at which the planet was evolving around the sun. He also calculated the time remaining before the eclipse would occur.
In twenty-six hours and thirty-four minutes from now, a total solar eclipse would occur. Venus' coordinates will also be between the moon and the sun at that time. The sun would be completely obscured by both the Earth's satellite and the planet, and it would be the perfect moment for someone to steal power from the sun! After the eclipse, there would be no more sunlight, and the entire Earth and its life would disappear...

Solar jumped out of his seat when he realized how little time they had before destruction. The estimated time for TAPOPS headquarters to reach the Milky Way was twelve hours. He immediately contacted Warmaster Pyrapi to report his new hypothesis.

"Captain Solar ready to report," he said after saluting. "I've been looking for information about Earth lately and after this, I'll gather my team for a meeting. I have something urgent to tell the Warmaster..."

"That's our strategic plan. Any questions?"

Solar held his team meeting in the infirmary because Sai still needed to rest there, but his condition had improved considerably. TAPOPS' medical technology was also far more up-to-date than Earth's.
