Kyle Hal 18 35

Kyle stood next to Hal silently adjusting his mask as he looked to his father then to the president.

Hal smiled warmly and watched the camera not moving as the president talked.

Kyle looked around again then looked back to Hal quietly before he looked towards the camera then back to the president 

Hal put a hand on Kyle's shoulder gently squeezing it before he spoke looking to the president "Thank you very much. we are honored by this award." He smiled taking the award and shaking the president's hand before he looked to Kyle

Kyle hesitated then walked closer shaking the presidents hand "thank you." He slowly moved back to his father's side fixing his mask again looking up to Hal quietly before he looked to the camera man waiting patiently 

The camera man held up his hand then pointed at them "And we are out!" 

Kyle immediately walked out 

Hal watched after him then sighed following him before he gently pulled him back into the room "we can't leave yet." 

Kyle sighed softly and fashioned himself a seat out of his powers as he sat down watching his father silently. "Dad how much longer do we need to stay here. It's boring beyond belief." 

Hal pat his shoulder softly and smiled "Kid we will be leaving soon. Just relax for now." He pet Kyle's hair gently and watched the president and Leon silently 

Kyle looked up to Hal then to Leon before he mumbled "At least the view isn't awful." he shrugged "could be better though." 

Hal laughed gently and looked down to him "You can't say things like that bud." 

Kyle looked up to him "he lacks muscles." 

Hal shook his head smiling as he looked back to Leon before he leaned over and spoke softly near Kyle's ear "I think he looks very handsome Ky." 

Kyle looked up to him "is that why we are still hanging around. You're waiting for them to be done talking?" 

Hal nodded slowly "Yes. It would be rude to interrupt them." 

Kyle stared up to him then got up letting the chair disappear as he walked over "Excuse me mister President I have a few questions that I would like to ask." He stared up to the president innocently "I have this report due in class and I was hoping you would be able to spare some time to let me interview you? Your body guard can go talk to my dad while we talk." He smiled brightly as the president agreed and walked off with him waving at his dad as he went to the table in the oval office 

Hal blushed watching him "sneaky child." He slowly walked to Leon "I was waiting for you to finish your conversation. I didn't plan on my child making that conversation much shorter."
