When their school cultural week was going on.
Kian had visited his parents house and brought back some Korean stuff.
A Hanbok he wore to a cousin wedding once, he even made some Korean food for his project.
Also he was making art for his project since he's a art major- he also was taking photos for his project of himself in a Hanbok.
Kian has been to South Korea once in his life when he was about nine so he also brought some stuff he had from there.
He asked his roommates what they were doing.
"I'm making traditional Japanese food and snacks. "Said Tris.
"Making traditional clothing and making art inspired by it. "Said Daxton.
"I'm going to play some traditional Hawaiian music on my ukulele also I have a few stuff from my dad's shop I can bring . "Said Eden.
His dad's shop only sells traditional Hawaiian stuff made by his family and other Hawaiians.
Meanwhile.
Deshawn doesn't know much about what parts of Africa his family descended from so he did something Southern since most of his family is from the South- mainly Georgia.
Meanwhile.
Kora got talked into doing something with his siblings-because they have a unique cultural background but they weren't going to do a super good job because they are half Indian and have dealt with people assuming they were nerds despite them only getting good grades so that their parents wouldn't have to pay for college.
Meanwhile.
Vance was at his sister's house working his project.
Vance is half Mexican and Indigenous but he's not white Latino- his mom side is more brown skin Latino.
So technically speaking Vance is half white and half Indigenous Mexican.
He doesn't know anything about his Indigenous roots but he know a lot of about Mexican stuff and a lot about Greek stuff
He also changed his major from business to art because the med one was filled up.
He's a photograph major which means he has many job options.
He had photos from when his family went to Mexica and some photos from when they went to Greece.
He made what looked like Día de los Muertos altar minus the candles.
He had marigolds instead of roses because marigolds are the flowers used for the holiday.
He was making some food for his project-He got lamb earlier and mint jelly also some stuff to make tamales for his project.
His sister took him to a supermarket.
"So how are you. "Said Victoria.
"Good. "Said Vance.
"Sorry about bampás and mamá "Said Victoria.
He knew it was serious if she called their parents by Greek and Spanish words for dad and mom-she only ever did that very rarely.
"I'm use to it, dad will say it's mom's fault, she'll say it's his fault, they'll fight as usual and one of us kids gets blames granted this time it will be me. "Said Vance.
"Well I want you to know that it's not your fault that god made you gay and even if our parents don't support it you still have me and your friends including Braiden. "Said Victoria.
"Thanks also why did you mention Braiden. "Said Vance.
"You like him I can tell. "Said Victoria.
"Maybe I don't know feelings are hard but I do like him it's just I don't know what to say." Said Vance.
Meanwhile.
Braiden did so much research on Filipino stuff same with African American stuff since he's mixed with both.
He was going to make something.
There was a place at the school that allowed students to cook food if they asked first to use it.
It was mainly for stuff like this.
