As the days went by, Emily found herself becoming more and more suspicious of Harry. There was something about him that she couldn't quite put her finger on. He was kind and caring, but there was a darkness lurking beneath the surface.

She tried to shake off her unease, but it lingered in the back of her mind. She started to notice things that she hadn't before. Like how Harry would disappear for days at a time without explanation, or how his eyes would sometimes change color when he was upset.

Emily tried to ignore her suspicions and focus on her schoolwork, but it was difficult. She found herself constantly watching Harry, trying to catch him in a lie or a slip-up.

One day, as Emily was walking home from school, she saw Harry in the distance. He was walking with a group of boys she didn't recognize. They seemed to be deep in conversation, and Emily wondered what they were talking about.

As she got closer, she realized that they were all wearing black hoodies and sunglasses, even though it was a sunny day. Her suspicion grew, and she decided to follow them from a distance.

She followed them for a few blocks until they stopped in front of an abandoned building. Harry and the other boys disappeared inside, and Emily waited outside, wondering what they were up to.

After a few minutes, she heard a loud howl coming from inside the building. Emily's heart raced as she realized that Harry might be involved in something dangerous.

She waited outside for what felt like hours, her mind racing with possibilities. When Harry finally emerged from the building, she tried to act casual as she approached him.

"Hey, Harry," she said, her voice shaky.

Harry turned to face her, his expression guarded. "Hey, Emily. What are you doing here?"

Emily tried to keep her voice steady as she asked, "What were you doing in there? With those guys in black hoodies?"

Harry's expression turned cold. "That's none of your business, Emily."

Emily felt a pang of hurt as she realized that Harry didn't trust her enough to tell her the truth. She turned and walked away, feeling more confused than ever.

As she walked home, she wondered if she was overreacting. Maybe Harry had a good reason for being there. But deep down, she knew that something wasn't right.
