I started walking, I walked out of the park still crying. My vision blurred because of the tears in my eyes.
My sides hurt because of the stress and how long I'd been walking.
I bumped into a muscular chest which made me fall on my butt.
Avi.
"Hey Ava, why didn't you....oh" he started but stopped talking because of how I looked, he immediately helped me up.
"Ava what's wrong, who did all this" he asked with a confused but concerned look.
"It's a long story please just take me back to my hotel" I said, my voice breaking at the end.
"Okay" he simply said.
He swooped me in his arms which startled me, he carried bridal style effortlessly and started walking. A few minutes later I saw a beautiful black Aprilia RS660.
"That's a really expensive bike" I thought to
"I've always wanted a bike" I said but Avi just smiled. Gently placing me down he got on the bike and gave me a helmet.
"Get on" he said as he wore his helmet
I got on and wrapped my arms around his waist. He turned on the bike with made a blurring sound. The bike started moving, I laid my head on his back and closed my eyes.
He drove for awhile but we eventually got to my hotel, he parked and I got down.
"Thank you" I said quietly
"No problem Ava, just please give me your number so I can check up on you" he said, with my hand on his.
"Gimme your phone" I said, holding out my other hand. He gave me his phone and I typed my number. He immediately saved my number.
"When you're ready to talk just call me" he said with concerned laced around his voice. I immediately threw my hands around his neck he didn't expect it so he didn't hug back but after realizing what was going on he hugged back, tighter. He pulled me closer to him as I buried my face in his neck.
I let out a few sobs on his shoulder, he rubbed my back soothingly "it's okay Ava everything will be ok I'm here for you" he whispered into my ear.
"Thank you" I said, still wiping away stray tears
"No problem just get some rest and please don't cry" he said, wiping a stray tear which caused me to smile slightly.
His thumb against my cheek set fireworks off in my mind.
I walked into the hotel all the way to my room, I stripped out of my clothes and walked to bathroom. I turned on the shower, I stayed there till the hot water ran cold. I still let the water pour on me I felt like it was a washing away my problems, like my problems would go down the drain and wouldn't come back.
I eventually got out and wrapped my body with a towel as well as my hair. I heard a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I asked but no response
I walked to the door and opened it revealing Adrian with a bunch of freshly picked white roses
"Fuck no" I cursed
" Ava please I'm sorry we need to talk I'm...." He started but I slammed the door in his face and locking the door.
"Ava open the door", he said sounding concerned but I didn't reply.
"Ava!", he shouted banging his fist on the door which scared me.
"Go away Adrian!", I screamed back.
"Ava please", his voice softened. I walked to the door and double locked it, turning on the tv 'Boyfriend' by Ariana Grande and Social House was playing. I increased the volume so I wouldn't hear him.
After a while I lowered the volume, thankfully Adrian left. I wore my pjs and took a long nap.
I woke up and it was 3:15 in the morning, I knew I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep so I decided to watch umbrella academy. After 5 episodes, I lost interest in the show.
I couldn't get my mind off Avi, I contemplated on whether to call or text. After 5 minutes of thinking I sent him a text.
"Hey, you up?", the text read. I wasn't expecting a reply.
"Yeah, call?", he asked.
I sent a thumbs up emoji.
In a few seconds my phone started ringing, I immediately answered.
"Ava, what's up?", he asked. His deep groggy voice made me blush.
'Why am I blushing?', I thought.
"Hey Avi, I actually wanted to talk to you about yesterday", I said playing with the hem of the blanket.
"Okay I'm all ears", Avi said.
"You actually woke me up", he added sounding like a child.
I laughed before narrating the entire story to him.
"Wow", was all he could say.
"Well personally, I think your parents are right. I find you really attractive and cute but Adrian isn't who you think he is and as your uhm friend, I wouldn't let him do something like this to you", Avi said calmly.
"What do you mean?", I asked confused.
"Well it's not something I can say over the phone", he said.
"Okay tomorrow then, you can come to my hotel", I said.
"Sounds perfect. Ava, you need to sleep we've been talking for awhile", he said.
"Okay Avi, later", I said with a smile.
"Bye Ava", he said before I cut the call.
I ended up watching umbrella academy for a few hours before darkness overtook me.
