Skin Colour // ongoing

Chapter 7

I woke up at 9:20am and sat up in bed for awhile, thinking about my late night conversation with Avi.

I got out of bed and looked at my bible. "It's been awhile", I muttered before I knelt down and spoke to God. I actually felt better. I walked to the bathroom and ran a bath for myself. I used my hand to make bubbles.

I kept my phone on the counter and got out of my clothes before getting into the water. My stiff muscles immediately relaxed, I stayed there till the water became cold.

  I got out and dried my body, my started ringing. It was Avi, I answered immediately.

"Avi....hi", I said.

"I'm outside, you ready to go?",
He said in a soothingly deep voice.

"Yeah just gimme 5 minutes to dress up", I lied.

"Alright see you in five minutes then", he said before hanging up.

  I rushed to my vanity and did my skin care care and facials in just 4 minutes!
I wore a denim jacket with a black and white palazzo trousers, topping it off with a black head warmer. I grabbed my MacBook,wallet,charger and my small leather backpack.

I rushed to the elevator, I heard the ding and the doors opened. I walked into the lobby and spotted Avi by his bike. I'm guessing it was a BMW s1000rr.

I walked outside and admired Avi, he wore black jeans and a graphic T-shirt. He also had a jet black biker leather jacket.

"Hey Ava", he said with a wave.

"Avi", I said, hugging him.

"Are you ready to go?", he asked, still hugging me.

"Yeah", I said breaking the hug.

He handed me a helmet, I put it on before getting on his bike and wrapping my hands round his huge torso.

Adrian's Pov

  I watched Ava from my car with Avi, she looked really beautiful as always. I don't know why they're so close but I don't like it. She got on his filthy bike.

"I don't like this", I said, gripping the steering wheel hard while gritting my teeth. He rode the bike out of the hotel parking lot while Ava wrapped her hands around his waist.

"Fuck no!", I screamed in the car.
"I need to stop this", I said driving out of the hotel parking lot.

Ava's Pov

  Avi pulled up in front of a small playground well not really a playground but there was a swing and a guy who was selling snacks. There was a lot of trees and benches.

I dragged Avi to the swings and I sat beside him "okay....", I said looking at him.

"Yes so I'm going to tell you everything about Adrian Mason", he started.

"I was in MIT but I got expelled for fighting with Adrain. Initially I was supposed to be suspended but due to some circumstances I got expelled." He said, avoiding eye contact.

" why did you fight him?",
I asked.

"He used my sister, the same way he's using you", he said but I just nodded in response.

"How am I supposed to believe you?" I said, looking at him. He sighed, "I'm not forcing you to not be with him but I just care about you", he said.

"Guess I'll see for myself", I said with a shrug. "Well, let's get food 'cause I'm starving", I said, gesturing to the guy selling snacks.

Avi nodded with a smile which looked fake but he held my hand as we walked to the food stand.

Avi bought drinks and snacks but something felt off. We are our food and spoke for awhile.
