In the midst of the dark, I slowly find the will to sleep. I didn't know if it was day or not, but I was going to sleep. My body was screaming: Water. Water. Where is the water? I was thirsty enough to drink Josiah sweat. Shouldn't they be feeding me or giving me water? It doesn't seem like Josiah wants me to die.

There has to be something here.

Some water. I lower myself to the floor and start to crawl around, patting the area for anything.

Clunk. My head hit the wall. I touched my head. That hurt.

I felt the bumps of the paint in the wall, and suddenly it went empty. There is a hole in the wall where the drywall cuts off. A way out? Maybe I could escape. I feel towards the center of the hole, but sadly, it doesn't go that far.

Though, that's only the top part. What if there was a tunnel on the bottom? I bent my knees down so I could feel the base of the wall. I tilted forward to see if the wall went in further. The wall went in a bit further, but only by a water bottle size. Gosh, I was so thirsty.

Suddenly, something glass rolled across the floor.

Hopefully that wasn't too loud.

I stopped the bottle from rolling by grabbing it off the floor. I couldn't see what it was because it was dark, but it was long. I shook whatever it was and it sounded like there was liquid inside. Just hopefully it doesn't explode because I'm opening it. At the top of the length, there was a cork. Wine? I grasped the top and opened it. Thank goodness it wasn't champagne because the pop was silent. I smelled the inside, and it certainly smelled like alcohol.

I don't even care anymore. I'm thirsty as hell. I took a swig and realized that there were footsteps nearby.

Whoops, maybe I was too loud.

I quickly hid the wine bottle beneath my bed and licked my lips. I sat on top of my bed, trying to look innocent in case someone came in. But the footsteps left proximity. I am definitely not the first one here. They probably kept someone here before me and that's why there is a hole in the wall along with a whole bottle of wine.

Is Silas working with Josiah? I mean, even the maid is against me. Silas is enslaved to work against me. How am I going to get out of here, and where do I even go? I can't go back to my parents because according to Josiah, they sold me. Should I believe the words of the guy that is keeping me captive?

Just in case, should I check the door? Maybe one of these stupid idiots let it unlocked. I slowly go across the door to the little light shining across the floor to the door. I turned the round door knob, but suddenly I heard noise on the other end of the door and in walked an extremely tall person.

Josiah?

Silas?

It didn't matter because he automatically saw me and said, "You aren't supposed to be anywhere near the door." He ordered, "Go by the wall and sit down." I followed his order. Suddenly, through the dark, he grasped my hands and cuffed them. I was officially chained to a wall. Then he came close to my mouth. Was he going to kiss me?

He smelled my breath and said with a smile, "Ahh, you found the wine." I leaned away from his face. In the dark, I could also smell him. Not that I wanted to, but he smelled like hard musk, leather and spice. He stood up and turned his back to me and said, "I'll leave you for now, because he'll come for you soon." He continued out of the room and shut the door, locking it from the other side.

What the hell is that supposed to mean? Who's coming for me?

"Thanks for the food by the way." I yelled out to the door. I was met with no response. I don't even care. Kill me.
