"Do...what again?" Mike asked, genuinely confused.
"Do you have short term memory loss?" Will said giggling.
"What?" Mike asked still cute and confused.

Will just looked up at Mike. They both had tear stained faces and red eyes, but didn't care. Will looked deep into Mike's eyes, and although Mike still didn't know what Will meant by 'do it again' he kissed him, because he felt it was the right thing to do.

This time Will had time to relax into it. It was the first time Will had been kissed -apart from a second earlier- yet it felt like he had done it a million times. It felt natural. It felt good.

They shared a passionate kiss that lasted an eternity, yet it still wasn't long enough. When Mike pulled away, he just looked at Will. He realised he was staring blankly and immediately tried to reassure Will.
"Don't worry, it's not you..I just...need to get used to it, I guess." Mike said from a lack of better vocabulary to explain himself.
"Get...used to it? Oh...Mike if you didn't want to you didn't have to..." Will immediately backed away and gave a look filled with such guilt that it physically hurt Mike.

"I'm really sorr-"
"Not like that, stupid." Mike said laughing to try lighten the atmosphere Will accidentally created. He walked to the bed and calmly sat down on the edge.
"Will I didn't even have an incling I was even the slightest bit GAY before this - I just have to adjust. That's all." Mike made sure to make the word 'gay' the loudest of all to try make Will laugh and prove his lack of homophobia.
"Oh...okay." Will was smiling and blushing to himself, staring at the floor.

"Come here." Mike said to Will, completely infactuated by how cute this boy was, and absolutely appalled at himself for not noticing it earlier.

Will shuffled towards Mike, not lifting his head. Mike's voice alone gave him massive butterflies and made him blush more than normal now. He couldn't conceal it anymore.

They just sat on the bed cuddling for a while. Not saying a word, just enjoying each others warmth.

"Do you...wanna read a comic together?" Will said suddenly feeling a little awkward in the silence that had lasted for nearly 20 minutes now. It had just hit him that this was his best friend. A friend he had known since he was, like, 5. He didn't know if this would be awkward. And El. He didn't think about El. God, what would he say? He just betrayed his literal sister.

Mike could see Will was lost in thought and was looking a little worried so he thought of something to...take his mind off things.

"Mmm" Mike pretended to think. "I...I think I have a better idea..."
Will looked skeptical but agreed to find out what it was.
