sry if you don't talk much there are twenty six people not including Mr. Freeman so yah
and there are probs typos so whatever ;)-
"Ok, let me call the role." The whole of 8A groaned for Mr. Freeman had called the role at least eleven times since they left school.
The class replied 'here' when they heard their name while talking quietly.
When Mr. Freeman had finished role call, he informed the group that they had to all meet at Gate 5 at, as he put it, "11 o'clock sharp - no later than that." One hour still remained until they had to meet at the boarding gate.
"And do not loose your plane tickets," he called after them.
"Let's go to KFC and get popcorn chicken 'cos I'm starving," said Claire and dragged Georgia and Sienna after her.
"I'm coming too!" Rachel ran awkwardly after the three, followed by Molly who was carrying a massive back pack on her back.
"Na, let's go Nando's. KFC is too mainstream," said Lucette lightly.
"We could also get fro-yo," added Johanna.
Johanna, Anne and Lucette walked off in the opposite direction from the others, towards the restaurant.
Meanwhile, the boys didn't feel like eating and decided to find Gate 5 and wait in the lounge area.
"Maybe there will be free wifi," suggested Angus.
"Vainglory," said Dimitri to Thomas, with a sly face.
Zac groaned. "Vainglory is so gay."
"Ok, Zacaria," said Dimitri with a laugh.
They found Gate 5 with a lot of trouble, circling the left section of the airport at least twice. When they finally arrived, Natalie, Ngoc Han, Hannah and Phillippa had already comfortably found the most relaxing lounge area and we're eating Anzac cookies.
"Natalie the Flash. Why am I not surprised you're already here?" said Ed, who joined the group. His feet were sore from walking around so much.
Natalie laughed and took out her iPad from her bag.
"It has been, like, half an hour already. I'm not that fast, you guys are just really slow," she said as she unlocked her iPad screen while Ed snatched a cookie from the packet.
"Oh wow," interrupted Patrick, "were we really that long?"
"Pretty much," replied Nat as William and Alex walked sat down at a separate table.
Patrick and Ed continued to talk to the girls, while the rest of the crew chose a large seating area with square coffee table surrounded by three oversized, navy couches. The boys dropped down onto the soft lounges, dumping their carry bags at their feet.
"Ooh, a vending machine," noticed Benson, "does anyone have any money so I can buy chips?"
"I want chips!" Stefan leapt off the couch, and tried to hurdle the coffee table to reach the vending machine, however misplaced his footing and slipped, landing face-first into Stephen and Joel.
"Get off," said Stephen shoving Stefan onto the pile of bags at their feet. "I just want chips," whined Stefan, looking over to where Benson was standing at the vending machine. He had managed to fish out six bucks from the pockets of his trackie-dacks and was busy inserting them into the coin slot.
"Salt and vinegar for me," said Stefan, making his way towards Benson, limping a little from his sudden fall.
At this moment, all eight girls had return with bags of hot chips and a enormous bucket popcorn chicken as well as five cups of frozen coke.
"And you took your time," said Finn, greeting the girls as they walked over to the coffee table, setting down their heavy bags and bucket of popcorn chicken.
"You can't talk," called Hannah over her shoulder, reminding Finn how long it took them to find Gate 5.
"Shut up," replied Finn playfully.
"We got this bucket for the whole class so be thankful, God," said Sienna, rummaging through her back pack for her phone.
"Sassy Sienna," said Rachel, looking at her with a wide smile.
"Yep, dat's right," she returned. "We should actually hurry up and eat all this food because we only have, like, fifteen minutes 'till boarding time. I don't think they're going to let us take this tonne of food onto the plane."
"Just leave it to me," joked Georgia, grabbing a handful of hot chips. "Hannah! Ngoc Han! Oi, you guys!" referring to William, Alex, Patrick and Ed. "Come and feast with us."
The whole class dug into the food, stuffing themselves with potato chips and chicken, with the exception of Stefan and Benson, who snacked hungrily on their bags of chips. They managed to buy six packets. The vending machine prices were surprisingly cheap.
When the time came to board the plane, the food had long been gone. The students ceased their bags and jackets, and hurriedly headed towards the gates' opening, each handing their own ticket to the ticket inspector woman that stood beside the door.
"This is so exciting," said Georgia, turning to Lucette and Johanna, jumping up and down slightly.
Anne, who was ahead of them in the line, turned around and grinned happily, "I know right. I actually can't believe that we are going to Brazil."
