Taehyung was too early today. Irene and Eun were surprised and Hyun was irritated as always. Nothing new!

"The auction is in three weeks from now and you are home?", Hyun looked up from his newspaper.

"I've a life outside your office dad. And a break won't destroy anything ", Taehyung who just entered the house replied with a non expressive face.

"It will destroy company's future and reputation", Hyun rolled his eyes. Taehyung just ignored him and smiled at his mom.

"How are you beautiful?", Taehyung cheerfully kneeled before, taking her hands in his and kissing them.

"I'm good, baby", Eun smiled at him, caressing his head lovingly. "You seem happy these days. Something special?", She asked.

Taehyung smiled to himself. "Nothing mom! Work is so good these days", he glanced at his father who didn't react much.

"You are early tonight...you and Irene can go for dinner? What do you say Taehyung?", Eun excitedly suggested and Irene who was cutting an apple for her, looked up.

"He must be tired mom....let him rest....".

"Ohh a dinner won't take much of his energy Irene", Eun cut her off.

Taehyung tensed up. Oh god he planned to meet Jungkook tonight and no matter what, he will meet him. The dinner's going to be with his pup and no one else. Suddenly so eager. Hehe!

"Uhh..mom..", Taehyung called and Eun's happy faced turned serious seeing her son.

"What?", She asked seriously.

"Actually mom...i-i've a boys night out with my friends....i can't take Irene out", he lied. Why? Because his pup must be waiting for him.

Ohh eager to meet jungkook? And they are just fuck buddies....okay work colleagues too. And new new friends.

"Boys night?", Hyun interrupted.

Okay here's the most difficult question of the exam.

"Yes", he managed to say without stuttering, however he was fighting a huge war inside his head.

"Let him go Hyun.....he rarely leaves his offfice and laptop", Eun rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry honey.....he will take you some other day".

Irene forced a smile and nodded, focusing on her work.

Hyun said nothing much. Taehyung mentally sighed as it turned out to be far more easy than he thought. He felt bad for Irene though and mentally promised himself to take her out on a dinner as a friend.

Taehyung practically ran upstairs to his room. Taking a quick shower, he spattered his famous intoxicating perfume, wearing a fit black tee and sweatpants, messily set his hair and took his car keys, black card and a jacket. Running downstairs, he kissed his mom's cheek and left, saying he will be back in the morning.

For the first time Hyun was quiet. Not what Taehyung expected.

Starting the engine at 7.20, he first went to the local market. Buying some ramyeon, japchae, a bottle of soju and desserts, Taehyung left at 7.45.

He's going to be a little late.

In the afternoon, when he was in that boring meeting, he didn't knew Jungkook was the one who came to select the venue with him. Wrapping it up as soon as he could, he left the conference room in a little too much hurry and ran to meet the silver head.
