Jungkook admired the view outside Taehyung's office. The scenery of Seoul city from here always left him breathless. The orange and dark blue shades in the sky and the twinkling lights of other buildings and vehicles were contrasting against each other.
He pouted.
He wanted to cuddle with his hyungie and kiss him and pinch his bread cheeks and everything. But Taehyung was inside the office, busy with some important clients.
All of his clients were important to him. Huh!!!
The door clicked and shut behind him. He turned to look at the person coming out.
"Hey! Jungkook, right?" A boy he has seen two or three times with Hyukjae, chirped. He had a beautiful smile on his face.
Jungkook smiled. "Hello. Yes i am Jungkook Jeon."
"Yeah yeah, Mr. Kim's favourite!"
Jungkook blushed and tried to hide his smile. "It's nothing like that."
"Oh yes!! Everyone knows that. JEON JUNGKOOK IS MR. KIM'S FAVOURITE", the boy laughed and Jungkook knitted his eyebrows cutely, a pout adorned his lips.
"Okay okay don't give me that cute killer look", the latter lifted his hands in surrender. "I am Mingyu. Kim Mingyu", he introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you Mingyu-ssi", Jungkook bowed respectfully.
"Aish! Do i look old?", he said looking at himself in the glass of the window.
"No....you must be older than me", Jungkook teased.
"Twenty six", Mingyu shrugged.
"Definitely Mingyu-ssi", Jungkook giggled and Mingyu knitted his eyebrows, faking his angry expressions. "I am twenty four".
Mingyu smiled. "Well Jungkook-ssi? Let's be friends." Jungkook practically lit up at the thought, eagerly nodding his head like a child saying yes for candies.
"Of course. Let's be friends".
"Well then.....wanna go for coffee? Like after work?"
Jungkook shook his head sideways. "Not today!" he said apologetically. "I am busy tonight."
"Ohh boyfriend?", Mingyu asked.
"What? Noo?"
Mingyu exhaled dramatically. "Thanks for telling me that you're single."
They both burst into a fit of laughter at this. Jungkook's high pitched giggles resonated in the empty hallway while Mingyu silently looked at him.
The door sound clicked into the atmosphere once again and both turned.
Taehyung came out with a stern look on his face and the three of them shared a look. Jungkook smiled seeing his hyungie while Mingyu bowed before his boss.
"The meeting's over?"
Why can't he keep his eagerness inside for a few seconds.
"Deal done. We have a new project", Taehyung replied calmly to him but his eyes left the warmth as soon as he looked at the boy. "I told you to call Hyukjae. Not asking my advisor for a coffee date!" he spat.
Jungkook gasped and Mingyu bowed once again, apologizing immediately.
"Keep your romantic matters out of the company", he seethed and Jungkook blinked. What made him so angry. Poor boy just asked for coffee. "Go!"
Mingyu ran away and Jungkook was quick to stand in front of Taehyung.
"We just became friends", he whined hitting Taehyung on the chest, ignoring his dark eyes that were still glaring at the figure of the poor boy walking away as soon as possible.
Taehyung finally averted his gaze from Mingyu to his little fluff ball.
"Make friends but don't go out with just anyone. Especially for coffee and shit", he raised a brow at the hard pout Jungkook gave.
"Buy me my favourite coffee and i won't go with anyone else except you", he played with the crisp collars of Taehyung's shirt.
"As my baby says", Taehyung kissed his cheek and went in, telling him that he'll be free in ten minutes.
