Rosie's lips were soft, and her breath smelt softly of coffee and Malboro reds. Her piercings were cold and metallic, but they didn't feel uncomfortable. They felt like... Rosie. And Rosie felt like Heaven.
We rolled over so that I was on my back and Rosie was on my stomach and continued making out with her.
It felt the way that it had felt with Christine. But it was better, way much better. Rosie was Rosie, and that was what made her special - she was the 7th Heaven. Actually fuck it, she wasn't the 7th Heaven, she was the 8th Heaven.
I wished that we could be like this together, her weight pressed against me, her lips on mine-
There was a knock at the door. But it wasn't the door connecting the two rooms. It was the main door that you enter from the hallway outside.
"Shit" Rosie lifted herself off of me, and I sat up straight, smoothing out the creased in my shirt. "Who the fuck is coming to our room at this time of night?"
She walked over to the door, while I smoothed out the sheets so that nothing looked suspicious. As she peered through the peephole, she let out a breath of relief.
"It's just Bones." she muttered. "Thank the lord or whoever the fuck there is to thank."
"Thank life." I said.
The chain rattled as Rosie unlocked the door, allowing Bones to step inside. He had a pissed off look plastered on his face, but at this point, it was the default setting.
"Heya" he stood in the doorway. The door was almost as tall as him, so that if he walked into the door without paying attention, it would've whacked him on the head. "Do you mind if I stay with you guys? At least just for a bit. Alex and that other guy are... well... you know"
Rosie and I looked at each other, giggling simultaneously. Oh, Alex.
"Sure." Rosie said, pulling herself together. "It's no problem at all"
"Thanks" he smiled slightly.
There wasn't a couch in the room, so we ended up all sitting on the edge of the bed together, flicking through the TV together. There were some sappy love songs being broadcasted, the music videos showing passionate couples together.
"This song sucks." Rosie yawned, before changing the channel.
We began watching a crappy horror movie that was being broadcasted. In the movie, there was a teenage couple passionately making out while the killer snuck into the girls bedroom, ready to butcher the both of them with his weapon.
Bones groaned. "What's with all these couples? First Alex and drunk guy, now all these people on the TV. Who's next?"
Rosie and I looked at each other again, then burst into peals of laughter. We really sucked at being discreet. We would have to be more careful if we wanted to keep this a secret.
By then, Bones had already realized. "Are you two... together?"
"Yes! No, I don't know. Maybe" I said. It felt like we could trust him. After all, he was Bones, the mom of our group.
He nodded. "I see. Just no sappy stuff in front of me, please."
Rosie stuck out her tounge at him. "Ok, Bonesy."
"And no calling me Bonesy either."
The fact that he didn't care was a massive relief. No matter what was going to become of us
We went back to watching the TV, and time continued passing on by us. The special effects of the horror movie were terrible, the dialogue was cheesy, and the acting was terrible. Rosie making fun of the movie was what carried the entire thing, but it got dull after a while.
