@soothercake from AO3 requested a fic where Enizor falls in love with Iris and gets poetic, but Neviro kicks him...in the balls. This is gonna be fun, lol. Normally, I don't write things established only between canon characters (I make exceptions, of course), but I will just cram the reader in there and establish a platonic realationship between the group. Enjoy!

_______________________________________"Ah, captain, may I have a word with you?" spoke up the alchemist of Frostmill, his book having been put aside minutes ago. (Y/n)'s gaze moved to Enizor, raising a brow slightly. "What's up?" asked the (y/b), watching the man's eyes sparkle with interest and.... another emotion they couldn't identify. "Pardon my inquiry, however, whenever I lay my gaze upon Iris, I can not help but feel like something inside me flutters. As if... someone has cast a spell upon me. My gaze never moves away and I feel like I am in a trance every time I see her. Just what is this feeling?"
Morden, who was nearby, overheard the conversation, walking up to the two. "Love. It's love. Although, I don't think it's a good idea to-" "No, no. 'Nizor, you should definitely go ahead and show your affection to Iris. Try to woo her with flowers, sweets, poetry. Trust me, she will love it all sooo much, she's gonna fall in love with you in seconds."
Morden couldn't help but glare at the (y/b), raising his arms on level with his shoulders, giving them a 'what are you doing?' look. (Y/n) could only shrug, their face remaining natural. "I suppose I could try these tactics. Thank you very much, captain." and with that, the alchemist would open the trap door on the deck, which lead on the inside of the ship, closing it behind himself.
Morden sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose "You know, if something haywire, it's gonna be your fault for encouraging him." (Y/n) couldn't help but snort. "Oh, come on, Mord. It's not like Neviro is really gonna beat him up over this. Least he could do is tell him off for sure."
"I think you're underestimating the situation."

Later on, the group and crew would stop by Sailor's Lodge for a quick lunch and drink. Iris, who was currently sitting by herself at a table, was looking out the window, taking a sip from her drink. However, her gaze moved away, when she noticed the presence of someone else right in front of her. "Oh, hey Enizor." she greeted, slightly smiling.
What she didn't expect, however, is that Enizor was holding a..
bouquet of flowers? The alchemist cleared his throat, offering the gift towards the red head. "I apologise for the bother, Iris, however, I wanted to give you these."The emerald eyed girl raised a brow, confusion laced on her expression. And voice. "O-Oh, uh, thanks?" she took a hold of the bouquet, watching the alchemist bow and turn to walk the other way. "What was that about?" she wondered to herself, putting the flowers down.
While this has happened, a certain snow haired man watched, his fist gripping the wood rather tightly.

The group was now camping at Dawn Island. Morden had wanted to visit Tucker's grave once more, as it's been a while since he has done so. So, they all just decided to camp for the night in the same location.
Iris and Neviro had been tasked with gathering wood for the fire. Neviro covered a part of the island, while Iris covered another. As she made her way back to the campsite, a hand made its way on her shoulder. This made the girl gasp in fright, dropping the twigs and wood she had collected.
She quickly turned around, her hands covered in flare magic as she was about to burn whoever scared her to a crisp. Turns out, it was just Enizor. Again. "A-Ah, my apologies, Iris. I did not mean to frighten you. I was just going to ask if you would like me to help you. Here, allow me." he would crouch down, picking up the wood. As soon as he did, he held the stack with one arm, while, with his free hand, he pulled out from behind himself what looked like to be a... sky pumpkin pie?
"I had accidentally made too much food for the crew and I have been wondering if you would like to have it?" Iris narrowed her eyes slightly, but nonetheless, she accepted the pie. "Uh, thanks, I guess." she watched the Frostmill alchemist walk away, this time glaring slightly. First flowers, now this? She was starting to have a hunch. Although, she would probably keep quiet. For now.

Palo Island. The small island that inhabited a very small village. It had been some time now since the mayor had gotten back to her village, and she wanted to speak with the one that... kind of left her with her captors.
As the ship had been damaged during the parking ( (Y/n) crashed it against the dock multiple times ), Iris decided to pay for the repairs. While she was waiting for the Shipwright to get the tools to repair it, Enizor had, once again, decided to make an appearance. This time, he had a paper in his hand. Wait. A paper?
The alchemist got onto one knee, clearing his throat. Oh no, what was he gonna do now? "Hair as red as the most beautiful and shining ruby in the world, eyes as green as the most luscious emerald to exist. And a personality as fair and graceful, yet as strong and burning like fire on wood. Sweet Iris, the amber once confined in the coldest ice, I ask you. Will you be my-ACK!"
Enizor felt a sharp pain between his legs, falling on his side as he held onto the spot. "My magical pearls..." he groaned in pain. Behind him, Neviro stood tall, arms crossed as he looked down upon the alchemist. "Back off, wizard." he hissed, before he took Iris' hand, pulling her away from the man in pain.
A few feet away, (Y/n), Morden and the mayor all stood silent, having watched the scene that had just unfolded. "I told you so." said Morden, placing his hands on his hips, giving the (y/b) a look. "Shut up, Morden."
