Sunny's Guilt. (A Sunburn Angst fanfiction)

The Sleepover.

Sunny went in first and they all were greeted by Kel and Hero's Parents.

They were very excited to see Sunny and Aubrey again and kept asking rapid fire questions about well usual things....they'd ask

Sunny's stomach growled interrupting their questions after a while.

"Oh you must be hungry Sunny!!" Kel and Hero's Parents said at once. "Here don't worry! We'll get something for you all to eat at once! Then you can tell us all about what's been happening this past week!"

While they waited....well Kel Aubrey and Sunny waited. Hero went to help his parents of course.

Sunny and Aubrey sat on the couch together in silence since well...what was there to even say? It's been so long and so much was revealed to them in the past week, not to mention the additional...."events" that transpired when He first came out of his house.

".....I'm glad we're able to be able to be together and....find peace....Sunny...." Aubrey finally said breaking the silence

.... Sunny nodded in reply.

Aubrey looked at Sunny intensely....it looked like Sunny wasn't bothered but truth was he was very curious at what she was thinking....and what exactly she was going to say...maybe even excited a little though Sunny did not show it.

"Sunny.....I-"

"HEY GUYS!! DINNERS READY!!" Kel yelled startling them and making them fall backward

"Huh?? Oh...am I interrupting something?" Kel asked confused.

Aubrey managed to regain her composure and got up and simply said.

"It's nothing Kel. C'mon let's go Sunny."

Sunny on the inside was kinda upset that he didn't get to hear what Aubrey was going to say but got up anyway and decided not to think about it and just eat.

Dinner was great even though they were still bombarded with questions which Sunny and Aubrey answered at their own pace. Needless to say Kel and Hero's Parents seemed very happy that Sunny and Aubrey were ok and back even if it was only for a little while.

"Well..." Hero finally said changing the subject. "We should get things ready for bed tonight....it's getting late. And Sunny and Aubrey are sleeping over I hope you don't mind Mom...and Dad."

As Usual Kel and Hero's Parents were totally on board with this and didn't mind at all.

"By the way Sunny..." Hero continued talking. "We don't have a lot of choices for sleeping over here since it's been so long but we can set up an Air mattress for you two....but it goes without saying you'll have to sleep....together. I hope that's ok with you haha..."

Aubrey started to blush a little while Sunny felt his ears turning red....and his entire face too.

Sleeping.....with the girl he had a crush on since they were kids?!??? And on top of that he was already forgiven for Mari's death.

For a second Sunny thought he was dreaming but of course he wasn't...a dream wouldn't feel this....real and it would've happened with Omori instead of him since Headspace still existed in his mind.

Kel looked a little confused

"Sunny are you ok? Your face is all red...are you not feeling well???"

Sunny stood up and lied.

"I'm fine....I just need to use the bathroom!!!"

Sunny said this at once and ran to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him leaving everyone in confusion.

"What's with him? Oh well when you gotta go, you gotta go!" Kel said in response to what just happened

Sunny started taking deep breaths.

"Ok Sunny....relax it's just a sleepover.....why did I feel so weird then???"

".....Am I really still crushing on her after all these years?? No....that's impossible. I've got other things to worry about tonight..."

Sunny finished calming down and finished up in the bathroom and exited to see Hero and his parents cleaning up.

"If your looking for Kel and Aubrey they're setting things up for the night."

Hero said almost reading Sunny's mind

"Hey Hero...."

"Hm?" Hero glanced at Sunny

"When is Basil gonna be discharged from the Hospital?"

"Oh. Tomorrow actually....maybe we can all plan something tomorrow night as well if your mom doesn't mind."

Hero said back.

Sunny nodded and shrugged signifying that he'll see if he can.

"I know I've said it already but I'll say it again....it's very nice that you've been talking a bit more lately Sunny it's a very nice change."

Sunny smiled. He was also very glad that things were getting better.

30 minutes later.

Eventually everyone turned in for the night leaving Sunny and Aubrey on their Air mattress

They were still blushing by this but did their best to hide it.

"Goodnight Sunny....." Aubrey mumbled having not much else to say that she thought would be best TO say right now...

Sunny gave her a Smile and rolled over and tried to fall asleep.

....It didn't seem to work at first...Sunny just couldn't sleep for once

Then suddenly he felt something around him...he looked back in surprise but it was just Aubrey....hugging him...in her sleep.

Sunny felt himself blushing again....a part of him wanted to wake Aubrey up and another part just...wanted to accept it....

He decided he didn't want to be rude and ruin Aubrey's sleep so he decided to just try and get comfortable....in her arms....

Which wasn't too hard.

"I could get used to this...." Sunny silently thought as he drifted off into sleep.

He then entered whitespace again.

"Huh...weird the white door is gone...." he thought seeing that there was in fact no door leading to NEIGHBORS ROOM.

Sunny started to walk but noticed something and looked down in horror.

The floor beneath him was cracking....

Sunny started to run....

But as he started running more of the floor cracked and eventually gave way and he started to fall....

Sunny then noticed something even more horrifying.

SOMETHING was back.....but how?!?

Is this the end?!? Sunny gulped as he fell down into the never ending darkness.

(A/N): there we go that's all for this chapter! I hope you don't mind it being short I just wanted to make some cute Sunburn happen since I'm sure you all have been dying to see some here!!! As usual I will update when I can! Next will be another Headspace chapter!!
