Sunny's Guilt. (A Sunburn Angst fanfiction)

Help From Friends.

Sunny's Plan was simple yet flawless no one really tried to stop him...mainly because he didn't outright tell them

Early in the Morning Sunny told everyone he needed to head back home immediately.

And well that apparently was convincing enough because everyone bid Sunny Goodbye and even Aubrey gave him a hug which was a first. He hadn't seen Aubrey show any signs of affection to well...ANYONE since he last saw her

Even Kel and Hero looked suspicious of her but she said she wanted to meet up with her old friends again, and took off as well.

Sunny actually wasn't headed home but to the Hospital.

He wondered if  what Aubrey did meant anything...

He quickly shook it off though and dismissed it. It probably didn't mean anything anyway....besides I have more important things to worry about!!

Sunny asked to see Basil, the nurse seeing that he was with Hero and Kel and Aubrey before smiled and said he could.

Eventually Sunny reached Basil's Hospital room.

Basil was a bit Surprised but was happy to see Sunny as usual.

"Oh....Hey Sunny!! Your back Sooner than I thought!"

"Hey....oh I'm actually not staying long actually....I just need your advice...."

Basil was DEFINITELY very interested in what he had to say now as Sunny approached him.

"I've had a lot on my mind lately....and I'm not exactly sure what to do and...I feel like I need to tell you.....that I..."

"What is it Sunny? Don't worry I'll always support you every step of the way!!" Basil said as Sunny trailed off trying to help him.

Sunny took a deep breath. Calm down it's not like Aubrey's gonna know.

Sunny gathered himself and said sweating a bit.

"Hey....y-you r-remember that time when we were kids in the rain and I asked to see Aubrey's photo of her...in her pink raincoat?"

Basil was taken aback and pondered for a minute. "Heheh! Yeah! I remember that! That's when I found out you had a crush on Aubrey when we were kids! That's probably really embarrassing for you now....so....why are you bringing that up?"

Sunny was shaking trying to be brave and continued.

"Basil....my feelings for her....never went away.....I.....I think....I'm still in love with her even now"

Basil was so surprised he was practically in shock.

"Sunny! Is it....true?"

Sunny looked down at the ground and Basil could see though...that Sunny was blushing.

"Oh my god!! It IS TRUE!!!" Basil exclaimed amazed
"Haha I guess some things never change! Even after all these years!!"

Sunny finally looked at his friend and spoke firm.

"Basil...I need your help...your the only one I can trust on this and...I can't ignore my feelings for Aubrey anymore!! Even if I try to repress it...it'll always come back somehow..."

Basil was now deep in thought on what would be the right advice for his best friend.

"Well....If you want my advice for trying to get your feelings through to Aubrey I have a few things to say....one when talking to her you should still try to be yourself Sunny...not trying to be like someone else you know, no trying to be cute or cool or anything like that."
