"Have you ever got your first kiss?"

Hitari choked on her drink, "K-kiss? Do I look like someone that had their first kiss?"

Riki chuckled at her words, "You never got it?"

"I have strict parents. So, no." She looked away, feeling awkward at the sudden question from him.

"Listen Library girl, after my Mom died I smoked behind the school building. My father doesn't know that I smoked."

"Oh . . ." She looked at him in disbelief.

"What I'm trying to say is you don't have to show everything that you do. Parents don't have to know. Just do it secretly and they will never know. Just like I did with smoking."

"Are you still smoking?"

"Depends on my mood."
He looked at his shoes.

"Can you . . . quit smoking?"

Riki chuckled again, "Why so sudden?"

I'm just worried about you Idiot . . .

Hitari and Riki made eye contact but Riki broke it off.

"Let's go back to school." He looked at his watch and stood up, throwing the packages he had in the trash bin.

Hitari quickly stood up and followed him and also threw the drink in the trash bin.

"Library girl." He suddenly stopped walking and Hitari accidentally bumped into his back.

Hitari rubbed her forehead,
"Why do you always call me that?"

"Because you are always in the library, dummy." Riki started laughing and continued walking.

Both of them were walking silently and made their way to school. In 10 Minutes the second lesson will start and they have to hurry up.

Hitari and Riki didn't have an awkward silence, but a peaceful silence.

"I forgot, Riki." She called him and looked at him.

"What? What did you forget?"

"I've been wanting to ask you something."

"Go on . . ."

"Why did your friend JayJay move to my class? Did you both argue?"

"No, he's just too dumb to attend my class."

Hitari laughed "So, that's why." they headed on their way to class.

"Bye! See you later-" She waved at him.

"Bye, dumbass." He rolled his eyes and their ways separated.

School ended and Hitari felt uneasy after everyone found out that she had eaten lunch with Riki. They all called her a gold digger.

Hitari knew that something bad was going to happen, but she just let it slide. She's such a precious girl and always blamed herself for everything, even though it wasn't her fault.

Hitari never disrespected someone, even though people were disrespecting her and being mean.

The only thing she did was stay silent.

Hitari used to be happy and had lots of friends at school, but after her parents died she moved to South Korea with her siblings Minato and Aimi, because of their adoptive parents.
