"What do you-" Riki shut her mouth by placing his lips on hers. They both closed their eyes and Riki kissed her passionately, so did Hitari. Both of their hearts were beating fast at this moment.

After they pulled out the deep and passionate kiss, they had an intense eye contact.

Hitari's cheeks were heating up and Riki noticed that and smiled at Hitari's nervousness.

It was Hitari's first kiss.

But was it also Riki's first?

"You know what?" Riki picked up the cigarette pack and the lighter from the floor.

"W-what?" She nervously replied.

"Just sit and watch what I'm about to do, and just so you know, it's the first time that I would do something like this."

"Like what?"

Suddenly, Riki threw the cigarette pack and the lighter out of the rooftop and laughed at the end because of his own action.

"Why did you throw it away just like that?!" Hitari quickly stood up and looked at Riki deeply in the eyes, shocked at his action.

Riki just laughed and answered, "You were just cute earlier and I realized that you wanted me to quit smoking. Today is the first day, Hitari." He looked at the sky and closed his eyes so that the rain would be poured on his face.

Hitari got shy at his words and smiled,
"I mean, yes, I do want you to quit smoking but it's still your choice, don't quit just because of me-"

"If you want me to quit smoking, I will." Then Riki looked at her deeply in the eyes and smiled.

"Have you ever been in a relationship?"
He suddenly asked Hitari and raised her eyebrows at his question.

"No, Riki. I bet you have been in lots of relationships." She slightly smiled and looked at the sky again.

"Of course! I kissed lots of girls and I was in lots of relationships." He said confidently.

Suddenly, he grabbed her hand and interlocked his fingers with hers. "You said you like the rain right? Look at the rain now." He tried to distract her because he blushed at his own action.

"You still remember my words . . . "
Hitari chuckled and blushed when she looked at their hands that Riki interlocked.

The rain made them cold and shiver, but his hands were so warm.

"Of course, and to be honest, I started to like the rain too, because the rain reminds me of you Hitari."

Hitari felt so much comfort at his words, whenever she's around him, she feels so safe and protected. She loves being around him and spending time with him.

Suddenly, she thought about her adoptive father's words.

"I told you that one rule multiple times since you were a kid right?"

That one rule . . .

Hitari sighed when she thought about it.
