Takes place directly after Kings Tide/Day of Unity

We all slowly followed Luz to her house, which wasn't far at all but we were all walking so slowly it might as well have been a mile away. Gus was crying his eyes out so I walked over and put my arm around him to comfort him, he didn't even look at me, but leaned on my torso and cried harder. It made me want to start crying too, but I choked the tears down. I was the one comforting him so I had to stay strong. It kind of reminded me of the time when he made that big illusion at Hexside.

Amity was beside Luz, comforting her, she was crying too, Willow was behind Amity, and me and Gus in the back. We approached a house that I assumed to be Luz's because she looked at it and took a deep breath, Gus tried to calm down too.

We got to the house's front door, my arm still around Gus. Luz looked down and took another deep breath, while Amity looked at her with a worried expression, then turned to the door and folded her hands in front of herself, probably to make a good impression on Luz's mom. Luz looked back up and knocked on the door.

A few seconds later, an older looking Luz, which I assumed to be her mom, opened the door and gasped.

"Hey Mom," Luz said choking on tears, "I'm back" She hugged her mom tightly and started crying. Hard. They continued hugging and crying for a few seconds then Luz's mom said, "Come inside, You're all getting soaked" she held the door open as we all walked in.

After we all got in she said, "Sit down, please, you all look exhausted", there were two couches, one bigger than the other, Willow, Gus and I sat on the couch, me in the middle, and Luz and Amity sat on the smaller couch, holding hands. "How did you all get here? What happened?" with a worried look on her face. All the sudden we couldn't hold it in anymore, Gus bursted into tears, Luz stared at the ground, tears streaming down her face, but she didn't try to stop them, Amity's eyes were watering, but she didn't let the tears fall, she probably felt the same as me, she has to be strong for everyone else. Willow clenched her fists tightly, closed her eyes and cried softly, but tried not to let too much out, and I was looking at everyone else and I noticed that my own eyes were threatening to overflow with tears, I closed my eyes and rubbed my eyes so the tears would go away.
