Chapter 1: 'The Gift'

Our graduation ended yesterday. Some of us may moved on with our lives. Well, except my friends, of course. We made our promises that, even if we already graduate, we will always stay together and we'll always be in touch no matter what.

I was having my very amazing dream when a beamed of sunlight crashes through my eyes and a very annoying sound came....

'BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!'

"Ahhhhh!!!!!" I groaned at the devil alarm clock and hurrily pressed 'DISMISS'. I got up from my bed and started streching. I let out a little yawn and headed towards my bathroom. As I was about to enter my bathroom, I saw myself at my full-length mirror. I walked over to it and stared myself from head to toe. Same old, same old. Nothing really new changed in me, I still have my blue crystal eyes, my dark chocolate brown hair, and my very well tanned skin.

Oh! By the way, let me introduce myself. I'm Skyler Louise Cowell, and yes, my uncle is THE Simon Cowell. I'm living my 18 year old life with my four best friends. Michelle Sophia Edwards, Jessica Anna Calder, Melissa Rose Collins, and my best buddy, Shannon Andrea Walker. I'm living my life with my rich family. Did I mention that me and the girls are dead rich? Yup we are! So get jealous! Nah I'm kidding, I have to tell you, its not really easy being rich, you know. Wanna know why? Because you can't be free to do whatever you want, you have to have manners in everything, and we seldom spent bondings with our family! Now you know, back to reality then!

I walked in my bathroom and stripped my pajamas off and stepped into the shower. I turned on the heater so I wouldn't get cold. I washed my body with my strawberry soap and washed my hair with my favorite strawberry shampoo. Don't judge me, I just love the sweet scent of strawberries!

I turned off the shower and stepped out. As the cold air hit me, I quickly grab my cream colored robe and tied it to my waist. I picked up my cream colored towel and wrap it to my wet hair as I slowly clean my teeth.

I walked in my 'walk-in' closet and started searching for today's clothes. I wore my blue casual dress and my black ballet flats. I walked through my dresser and began applying a light amount of natural make-up.

As I finish my make-up, I plugged on my hair dryer and started drying my hair. After I dried my hair, I walked out of my room and went down stairs.

I found my dad talking with someone on his phone, probably work . And there i saw our Big Brother, Seth, using his phone, I'm 100% sure that it's his girlfriend, Natasha.

I saw my mum and my twin brother,Skylar, eating their breakfast while Sam and Savan kept arguing about whose going to eat the last bacon. How i wanted a sister.

"Good Morning People!" I cheered as i walked in the dining room. I recieved loads of 'Good Morning's' so I just began eating my breakfast.

"Okay.. Okay... Thank you... Bye" I heard my dad said as he hung up his phone then he turned to me and grinned widely at me.

"Uhmm..... What's up Dad?" I asked confused.

"I've got a suprise for you!" He exclaimed excitedly. I almost choke my food at his sudden outburst. I quickly stop eating and stand up. "What it is then?!?!" I shouted excitedly.

"Here." My dad said as he handed me a short envelope. I grab it and slowly open the short envelope, it has 5 airplane tickets to London. I let out a loud squeal and begun jumping up and down. "I GET TO GO TO LONDON!?!?" I screamed to my dad as they all laugh at me.

"Yes.. AND you get to spend your whole summer with your Uncle Simon. AND, your friends are coming too, I already informed them about it and you'll be leaving tomorrow morning!" Dad said with a huge smile. I squealed and ran to him and giving him a huge hug. "THANKS SO MUCH DAD!!!!" I said.

"Your welcome honey!" Dad laugh and so did the others.

Wow, this is going to be a great summer!
