Chapter 8: 'I Can't Be Your Superman, But For You I'll Be Superhuman'

~Melissa's P.O.V.~

"Luke? Luke Hemmings is that you?!" Me and Skyler both said.

Oh my god! I can't believe it! Its Luke! Our best friend since Junior Years!

"Who are-" His eyes widened as if his eyes are going to pop out. "Melissa? Skyler?"

"OF COURSE IT'S US YOU DIMWIT!" Skyler laughed and gave Luke a soft expression. "We missed you Luke"

"Oh damn! Come here you two!" He ingulfed us in a big hug. "I missed you both too!"

"So do we!" We said and hugged him back. He let go of us while grinning from ear to ear. The three of us stood up, me and Skyler picked up our books and we headed towards the cashier with Luke. "How are you doin' now?" Skyler asks.

"I'm good! When Uni end, Me and my friends decided to audition as a band back in Australia. Its been our dream to perform on stage and express our talents. And lucky us, we've won! And here we are right now!" Luke smiled. "No way! What's your band name then?" I smiled widely at him.

"5 Seconds Of Summer!" He exclaimed. "Awesome! How's Australia?" I asked him. Me, the girls, and Luke were all friends back when we were still Juniors.

But Luke and his parents moved to Australia when he graduated high school. After that, we lost contact with each other. We wouldn't forget about Luke though, he was the one who would always be there for us, he would always make us laugh when we cry. He was the best!

"Great actually! But a little lonely for leaving LA. I'm sorry if I've lost contact with you guys." He looked down.

"Luke, its okay. It doesn't really matter right now, 'cause you're here! Wait.. What are you doing here?" Skyler tilted her head in confusion.

"I've heard its great to have a vacation here so.. Yeah!" He smiled. We laughed, "Same old Lukey!" I said.

"Yeah! You haven't changed for a bit! You've looked a bit more mature than before though. Does Lukey have a special someone now?" Skyler smirked as she wiggled her eyebrows at Luke. Luke chuckled nervously, looking at the ground. I swear I saw him blushed! "HA! I knew it!" Skyler fist-pumped in the air, jumping up and down.

"I'm happy for you Luke! But are you sure that she's the one? I mean.. I just don't want you to get hurt like before Luke." I started. He looked up at me and smiled, "I know that she's the one Mel. She's..... Different."

"Are you sure?" I asked, worried. "Positive." He answered. We smiled.

"That still doesn't mean that we already approved of her." Skyler said as we've reached the cashier and paid for our books. "You'll definitely love her for sure!" He grinned.

"When can we meet her then?" I asked. "You can meet her today actually!" He exclaimed.

"Really?!" Me and Skyler shouted in unison. "Of course!" Luke smiled.

"Wait.. She's from London?" Skyler asked, utterly confused. Luke nodded, "Then how'd you met her?"

"At school actually. We were both freshmens at that time, and we honestly don't know a single person there so we became friends! Then I asked her out, and we started dating. Then I asked her to be my girlfriend, and here we are right now!" He grinned.

"Hmmm... Sounds cliche, but atleast both of you are happy!" Skyler smiled innocently as Luke rolled his eyes but laughed. "So how -" I got interupted by my phone singing 'Catch Me' by Demi Lovato.

"Before I fall too fast, Kiss me quick but make it last, So I can see how ba-" I picked up, not bothering on checking the caller I.D.

"Hello?" I started.
