Chapter 2

Two days past after Wen Longwei awakened in this unknown world, which weirdly enough for him to be so comfortable. Well he is a researcher and having so much knowledge to consume he is extremely happy about it.

But of course this kind of behavior left the parents feel weird but to see their beloved child's happy face. They can't stop but pretend they never noticed anything and continues to pamper with care. Having missed the most precious childhood of their beloved child. They can't really help them selft but pamper their child as a kid even though their child is already 21 year old and will turn 22 after 3 months.

"Long-ér you should eat more, your still in poor state so eat some food ok?"

The elegant mother shoving a piece of fruit to Wen Longwei.

Wen Longwei frown in dissatisfaction. Although he can understand the behavior of the women towards him because, he is her own child but he can't really stomach the treatment of the mother. As he is being treated as a child even though the body is already over 20 years old and Wen Longwei know this fact.

But even though he shows dissatisfaction on such treatment. The couple didn't adjust but just continued on pampering him like a kid. They missed thier beloved child's childhood so much that they didn't care about the age of their own child and just continuously give their affection and love they couldn't give to him when he was in coma. This shows just how much this parents loved their child.

"If you don't eat, I will shut down your system panel"

A cold voice from the father come out, noticing how his wife is having a hard time trying to feed their child. Well he doesn't really want to say something cold to his child but he doesn't have a choice. If it's the only way to make his beloved child eat and take care of his health then he will do it.

But it seems that the wife doesn't agree with her husband at all.

"Don't talk to him like that!"

Mrs. Wen complained, trying to coax Wen Longwei to eat.

"Dear.... Your spoiling him too much..."

Mr. Wen tried reasoning.

"If you continue this, he-"

Mr. Wen adds then suddenly cuts by Mrs. Wen.

"So what if I spoile him... Humph... I'm willing to do anything for my only child"

Mrs. Wen angrily refutes, as she tries to feed Wen Longwei some food.

"......."

Wen Longwei was speechless with the interaction of both couple, and especially the wife. He actually think that their argument just now is a bit childish to begin with. But if he were to take side, he will naturally took the father's side without any hesitation.

"Father is right, and plus I'm already 20 years old... And..... It's really embarrassing..."

Wen Longwei hesitated as he showed a face of embarrassment. To sum it up, Wen Longwei is pretty surprised by the treatment of the couple but he have to admit that he enjoyed how they pampered him. Looking back to his past, he went through what everyone else go through with. After he was able to speak, he was forced to read books for a high schooler. His parents back in his past life, are both researchers and the only reason for Wen Longwei's birth was to create a genius child. A genius child that will go through history. And they succeed, Wen Longwei became a no. 1 top notch researcher in the whole world.

Well it's not like Wen Longwei didn't enjoyed doing research. Longwei actually really loved his job that he married his work for more than half of his life time.

"And I can do it myself, I'm not a child anymore"

Wen Longwei reasoned, as he took the spoon and ate the food that was on Mrs. Wen's hand. But as soon as he took a spoonful of it, he immediately frown. Both the couple noticed their child's reaction and asked him.

"What's wrong? Is it not to your taste?"

Mrs. Wen asked concerned, Mr. Wen aslo looked at Wen Longwei concerned.

"......."

"It tased awful.... What is this...."

He casually said, questioning the couple.

"Well... It's a nutritious food required by the doctor"

Mr. Wen answered.

"....."

"Can I have the fruit, I can still taste it in my mouth"

Wen Longwei ordered while showing a every dissatisfied expression.

The father didn't say anything and just gave him the fruit they brought, and took away the nutritious food provided for him.

At first when Longwei looked at the strange looking thing in his room a day ago he asked what they were and was shocked to know it's a fruit. Well who would think that a stranger yet terrifying looking thing would actually a be fruit. Longwei wasn't really terrified it just that it looked really poisonous to begin with, so he never expected that it's was a fruit.

"......."

Looking at the strange looking, he is still a bit reluctant to touch the fruit let alone eat it. But having to be stared by the couple, he have no choice but to pick it up and took a slight bite. And to his surprised the taste is actually different from it's appearance. It's sweet, juicy like an orange and it also tasted like orange. At a moment he actually thought he was eating oranges but to his disappointed he isn't. He was eating the poisonous looking fruit that his father handed to him.

"......"

'Although it tastes like orange and is very sweet, I still couldn't stomach it's appearance'. Longwei continued to look at the strange looking fruit he just took a bite with and then took it away.

"?????"

Looking at their child's reaction they couldn't help but question him. 'Why did he reacted that why? Is it not by his taste again?' both of them question while looking at Wen Longwei for an answer. And to their disappointed Longwei didn't even give them a look, he only straightly got back to his system panel after taking a spoonful of bite.
