Woke up as an Rich Extra and Snatch the Cannon Fodder Away

Chapter 1

"Cough!" Wen Longwei eyes blurs as he constantly cough blood, and soon enough he collapse in the ground. He who only think of work now reach his limit. But even in the end he only think of his damn research that his couldn't complete.

Thinking of his unfinished research, he suddenly opened his eyes, which he found himself in the hospital and a very luxurious one......

He's a top notch researcher so he is pretty sure he had died just now so he was thinking of how he survived. But as soon as he looked at the window. He saw his self but not clearly his self.

"What the heck? Who is this?" Touching his face and checking if it's fake or real. Then suddenly a sound of something falling in the ground was heard.

Wen Longwei looked who it was and saw a person in shocked with suddenly run away from him in a hurry. Wen though that person was kind of rude but soon enough some more people come over. The other one seems like a doctor in the way he dress and the other two seems kinda rich with how they dress but they seems over excited on something and is about to cry.

The doctor the came with the other three people checked Wen's condition and announced it to the two people who dressed in a lavish clothes.

The whole time Wen Longwei didn't react that much as he is in the state of confusion. Questioning the whole thing that is currently happening. 'Who are this people? They seems to know but I don't even recognize them and what's more who even am I?'........

So many questions are popping in his head before letting out the question he has been wondering for a while now.

"Who are you?"

This question completely terrified the two people wearing a lavish clothes in shock. That reaction made Wen Longwei question more about his relationship with this two people or let's say the relationship between the original owner of the body and this two people. But soon enough the answer he's trying to figure out had finally revealed by the two people.

"Y-you don't remember us?..." Tears fall at the women wearing lavish clothes face while looking at Wen Longwei with glum expression.

"Xiao Wei...." "You really don't know us?..." Compared to the women just now the guy besides her is calmer although he to is in a stage of shock.

Wen Longwei shook his head leading the women in state of despair. Wen Longwei couldn't really understand why but then looked at the guy besides the women who is currently comforting her as if looking for an answer. And what's more is he question how this people know his name. And again more and more questions pop though his head.

The room was silent for a while before the man who's comforting the other woman who is in her need crying.

"Xiao Wei...." "I...." The man couldn't utter a word and stayed silent again. Having both the man and the women in despair the doctor come to the rescue.

"Young Master they are you parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wen" The doctor smile as friendly as he can. He understands why both the parents have a really hard time trying to talk to their child as both of them are the state of despair for their beloved child having forgotten about them just the moment he woke up.

But soon enough even Wen Longwei was even more confused from what is happening to him right now. First he died of overworking. Second he woke up in the hospital literally looking nothing like his original appearance. Third four people suddenly come in with bright expression. And lastly some two unknown people suddenly became his parents.

'What the heck!?' 'I don't even know them and they suddenly became my parents!?' Questioning everything that is currently happening at this moment, a sudden head ache hit Wen Longwei. Memories pop in his head that he doesn't recognize and in the memory, both his so called parent that was introduced to him just now appeared in the memory. And in that memory these two people loved him and spoils him very much.

Remember this scene's tears suddenly roll down his eyes unconsciously. The people present witness this and immediately both the parents come close in a flash and tries comforting Wen Longwei immediately. This scene made Wen felt warm and happy as if he had been waiting for this warmth all his life.

After sometime as Wen Longwei calmed down the doctor then said that Wen is in the state of shock after being comatose for 15 years and waking up, so he have mild amnesia and may recover them for a couple of months or weeks.

The couple let a sigh of relief hearing the doctor's statement. But what surprised Wen is the transparent floating thing that is clearly visible from all of them.

Wen Longwei stared at it for more like forever. As a workaholics maniac and nether the less a researcher who only think about research and stuff. He is strangely attached to the storage looking thing that is visible in the naked eye. And it seems that only Wen is a stranger at it.

'How interesting?' And with just that, all his questions had disappeared and now focus on that little see through thingy with text and so on that you can do in a phone.

"How does that work?" The question that has been in his head now finally come out of his mouth. But with that question again all attention are on him again.

Silence again took over the whole room before the Man or the Father now finally spoke.

"It's an Holographic panel"

"It's where we communicate, research, and many more"

"Daily life activities is also connected in the panel, but more of 99% of jobs/works are using this panel, so it a used daily."

The explanation wasn't very clear but as a researcher, that information is enough already for him. The couple saw the excitement from Wen's eye and immediately showed a loving smile.

Well it's been 15 years since they last saw their precious child smiled cheerfully. And for them having to see that smile is like a medicine for them from all those years they've been through while their child is suffering.

No parents can rest having to see their child suffering at such a very young age. Wen Longwei who was just 6-7 years old, cought up with an accident in which so serve that he was comatose for more than 10 years. They dare not have any children unless that themselves witness Wen Longwei opening his eyes. Many opposed on their decision but none ever succeed on changing their mind. That showed how deeply they cares and loves their only child.
