"Can you wait until the semester ends before I drop out? There's only a month and a half left anyway,"

I can't just drop out in the middle of term. People might think I was dropping out because of JB, which is true, but still. They might think we have something going on and I don't want that... Or maybe it's just my imagination that's thinking that way.

"Oh, sure!"

He was so cheerful about everything that I didn't know what to do anymore. When I asked him about his parents, he'd act deaf and not answer me at all unless I changed the subject.

"JB,"
"What?"
"Won't your parents worry if you run away?"
"Doubt it," he rolled his eyes. "Bet they'll be pleased,"

I stared at him, watching his expressions. He looked upset for a second but that faded as he forced himself to smile. He reached over and touched my arm lightly.

"Don't worry about me and my parents. Just worry about yourself,"
"But-"
"Don't worry," he repeated.

I think I shouldn't have started on that subject, but I was a bit surprised that he actually answered me for once. I nodded and looked away, focusing on the blank television, as he returned to looking for apartments in Seoul.

"What about this one?" he leaned over, showing me his phone. "It's somewhere near the Han River,"
"Price?"
"Ninety thousand a month,"
"Cheap," I looked over his shoulder at the website he was on. He moved the page whenever I told him to and leaned back, nodding. "It's really nice, but..."
"There's only one bed,"

We were silent, thinking about that one problem. The apartment itself was really nice, already fully furnished, but there was one bed.

"I'll get a sleeping bag. You take the bed,"
"I can't let you do that..."
"But a guy can't have a girl sleep on the floor when there's a bed, right?"
"Jaebum-"
"This is the best deal we've seen. Let's just get it already, and besides, we need extra money for living expenses,"

So you might think we're dating, or in a 'some' relationship, but believe me, we're not. We're just going to live in the same apartment because it's going to cost a lot to buy separate apartments for the both of us and he isn't the type of guy to take advantage of someone. He's my best friend, and we don't feel anything more towards each other than that.

"Deal, but we're taking turns on the floor, you got it?"

I'll feel guilty if I'm going to be the one always sleeping on the bed.

"Deal,"

He contacted the person who put it up on the internet and made arrangements to meet tomorrow at the place itself to check out the apartment. He wanted to get it as soon as possible so he could move out of my house already and go to Seoul first.

"You better go and book a ticket on the train to Seoul already," I smiled, which he returned and gave me a slight nod.

"Need help?" he took the seat in front of me. I glanced at him and a small smile made its way to my face.
"Please."

He promised me he would stay in my house until my exams ended. It had become a sort of tradition for us to help each other with reviewing for exams since we both had our weaknesses while studying.

He got up and moved to the seat beside me as he asked me where I had trouble with. I pointed them out and he immediately started to explain them to me, in a much simpler way that I didn't think was possible.

"Do you understand?"

But of course, there were still some parts that went out of my other ear.

"Please repeat what you just explained,"

He shot me a glare but he still repeated them. I smiled gratefully. I wasn't someone who remembered things quickly so I was thankful for him being patient with me.

It was already half past six in the evening when he offered to help me, but with him repeating half of what he said, we ended up finishing that subject at eight.

"Okay, stop," he pulled my books away from me. "Let's get some food first. I'm hungry,"

I couldn't protest to that, because at that moment, my stomach growled. He let out a quiet chuckle before standing up and heading to the kitchen. I grabbed my books from the edge of the table and opened the history book, scanning it quickly before he came back ten minutes later carrying a pot.

He looked at me and sighed, snatching my book away from me and picking all of them up, putting them in the corner of the room and pushed me back down on my seat.

"Don't you dare,"

He rushed back in the kitchen to get two bowls and two pairs of chopsticks before taking the lid off of the pot.

"Eat,"

And I did. I'm guessing he put two packs of ramen inside since there were a lot, but we finished them quickly as if there was only one pack.

"Should I cook more?"
"Yes, please,"

That was basically how the rest of our day went. Him teaching me all of my lessons until dawn then we spent the whole Sunday morning asleep in our beds.

Honestly, there wasn't much to say about living with a boy, specifically a boy who had been your best friend for years. There were times when things would be awkward, especially when he would suddenly decide to sleep on my bedroom floor. But after the two times he tried that, he didn't dare do it again, seeing how I had accidentally stepped on his hand the first time and fallen off my bed in the other.

In other words, it was just like living with a sibling.
