I smiled wide as my eyes continued to re-read our text messages. Ever since the fest the two of us have been talking nonstop.
Me and Kiki have always had a really great friendship but you know sometimes life is just overly busy and sometimes stressful; especially with work and kids. I wouldn't trade my life for anything but it was definitely overwhelming. Taking all of that into account, sometimes you simply just don't have enough time to fit in talking to your friends.
But for Kierra...for some reason I had all the time in the world to talk with her. And sometimes it was hard to tell if our conversations were strictly friendly..but either way, she's been keeping me with my phone in hand at all times; waiting for her texts with a smile on my face.
And yes, I'll admit it, I may have an itty bitty..teeny tiny girl crush on Kierra Sheard, but never ever will I act on those feelings. She was just so beautiful and wise beyond her years.
Nothing is more attractive to me than someone who genuinely wanted to know me and be in my presence. The effort from her was absolutely insane and I appreciated it far more than she'll ever know. Miss Sheard was a busy woman, so for her to be able to go through her day and still think to send me a cute good morning/ night text and ask about my day or even send me little motivational messages. I adored the hell out of it.
"Goo are you at the airport?" I ask my sister who was on FaceTime with Tina
"Dang E back up! all up in the camera for nothing." Tina says moving her phone away.
"Don't do my sister. She's just trying see if her girlfriend's in the car yet, don't worry E-ski I'll handle the package with care." Goo says sending me a wink while her and Tina laughs.
I just stood there with my hands on my hips trying to search for what was funny.
"Look at her." Tina flips her phone around so she could see me and once again they bust out laughing.
