I will like to say sorry for not updating this book. I have been very stressed from state tests. So there will not be many updates for about a month.

I hope you all can understand and I'm grateful for all the love this book has gotten. So please give me some time and I promise there will be more chapters after a month.

Third pov 6:00am

It was a semi quiet morning in the lair. Donnie was asleep had finally went to sleep. To get rest after staying up all night ring to find out who hacked his cameras.

Mikey was in the kitchen making breakfast. With some soft music in the background. Ralph was in the training room doing his morning training.

And leo was getting ready for work at huesos.Leo and his brothers wanted to get a limited edition Captain American and Ironman poster that will be coming out in two months.

But it was a very high price of 357$. Yes it was basically a scam but the brothers didn't care. All they knew is that they wanted it.

There was only one problem they were all basically broke. After the attack from the krang they all had to spend a large amount of money to get medical supplies. By then they had almost nothing left but a few dollars and coins lying around.

So leo and his brothers had to get a job's. Leo had to work somewhere he know will not cause him much trouble. He picked the place that he had the least problems in. Hueso restaurant. Yes he know he had fight there nice day one, but that was just from the other costumes and works there.

Leo thought that he could just go in and ask hueso for the job as a waiter. But to his surprise hueso said no the moment he walked into his office. It took a good three days of asking, asking over and over again to get his ok.

But that was two weeks ago Leo had his shift from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. He knew that if he keep the job up he will have the money for the poster in about a month and a half.

Time skip 10:35 am

Leo had been pretty bored at the moment. He had only survived 17 costumes sine he clocked in. It was a Friday in the morning. So it made sense the restaurant was not packed until it was the afternoon and many on the weekends.

That was until all the workers had all been called into huesos office. Leo didn't know what was going on until hueso and shut the whispers and spoken up.

Leo pov

It was weird. One minute I'm in the kitchen waiting on a order or a drink to deliver. Then the next minute I was in huesos office with the 18 other workers.

They were all talking about something that was going to happen today. Until hueso calmed them down. Then began to talk.

I know you all are wondering what I brought you all here. I will like to say that today I will try to get help from a old friend of mine. For the low number of customers and the debt for fixing the restaurant.

I will say this about my friend. He is human.

Then why should he event be in the mutants city. One of the other waiters said out loud.

I know a lot of you are skeptical, of what I said about my friend. I will tell you all this he is a powerful human in the business industry and more. So please take kindly to him.

That is all I have to say to you all for now. I will tell you all how it went after he has left. Hueso finished the meeting and we all left back to our positions.

About a hour pasted after the meeting and nothing had happened. I was curious about how this human friend of hueso's is and why he's important. But I knew that I wouldn't even be able to get close if huesos was with him.

After another thirty minute passed nothing happened. Until he we was told to give two burgers to some customers that were in the VIP area. As he walked out the kitchen with the orders. He could feel that in the room was the important person that hueso was going to talk to.

He had expected someone in a fancy suit or with expensive clothes. But when we walked in he found . . . a girl?

He was confused. He thought that the important person was going to be something that he was thinking.

But no it was a girl that looked around his age sitting in one of the chairs. With a black hoodie and pants on with her on her phone.

She seemed to be waiting on someone else as the saw that one the other side of the table had a margarita.

I didn't notice that I was standing in the door was for a lit to long.That the girl had noticed I was in the room.

After talking a little bit with her. I found out that her dad was the friend of hueso. In the moment he left to give hueso his idea on a solution. So that was why she was all by herself. After a few minutes of us making a few joke's and seeing how she liked the mutant city. I had to leave and go back to work.

Time skip 4:28 pm

After I finished my shift at the restaurant I felt to go home. It wasn't until I had gotten throw my portal and walked throw the sewers. That I started to think about the day I had. Plus the girl that I was able to get her name. It was Katherine and it suit her plus she was kinda cute. Then I realized something.

Noooo I could of gotten her number.
