Ruined plans

You and Jennie were walking through the park. You and Jennie planned a very nice picnic for a very nice day. But you both were wrong about it being a nice day. Dark clouds start to cover the sky and seconds later it start pouring rain. You and Jennie hurry and run out of the rain. Try to make it home before you can get drenched. But that wasn't work it was raining so much. You were only half a block away from home. As you both reach your home you hurry inside. You take off your shoes and Jennie brings in some dry clothes for both of you. "Are you still cold?" Jennie asks. "A bit but I'm fine." you say "let's get under some blankets so we don't get sick." Jennie says. You both make your way to the couch to cuddle and to get warm under a blanket. "I can't believe the stupid weather ruined our plans." You say whining a bit. "Hey we can still a have picnic just not outdoors." Jennie says while getting a blanket to lay on the floor. "I'll go get the basket, I'll be right back." Jennie says rushing off to get the picnic basket. "Wallah." Jennie says with her hands pointing at the little set up. "Mhmm now this is something I can get behind." You say smirking. "See our plans were ruined but our date isn't." Jennie says. "I guess it wasn't." "Thank you for saving it Jennie." You say smiling. "Of course I'd never miss out to have a date or to spend time with my girl." Jennie says before taking a bite of a sandwich. "This very nice." "Us, our home and the food." You say after finishing your sandwich. "I'm glad you're enjoying baby." Jennie says kissing your cheek. "Hey I want a real kiss come her." You say to Jennie. Both of you leaning in to share a passionate kiss. "I love you so much baby" Jennie says. "I love you too." You say going back to living in the moment. And thinking about how joyous the whole evening turned out to be.
