It's been 4 months since you've left Jennie and you've felt actually relieved more than hurt. You were in so much pain when you were with Jennie that leaving was for the best. You're about to meet your best friend Giselle at a coffee shop to talk about your upcoming promotion at work. As you walk into the coffee to greet your best friend cheerful, you bump into someone and their hot coffee spill on you. As you gasp from the burning of the hot coffee you come back to reality and try to apologize for bumping into them. But as you look up to see the person you bumped into, you freeze and you're speechless. It's Jennie who you bumped into. "Fuck!" You shout. "Of course you're here and of course you have to bump into" you say. You grab a pile of napkins and try to dry yourself off as best as you can. Jennie tries to offer help with drying you off. "No Jennie don't touch me." "Why don't you just go." You spit out. Jennie ignores you and continues to help. "Listen y/n I didn't mean to come here the same time as you and I didn't bump into, you bumped into me." Jennie says. You sigh in frustration and your mood now ruined. "Hey y/n since you're here why don't we get a coffee together and talk, maybe?" Jennie says. "I'm here to meet my friend actually." You say. "Well how about dinner tonight?" Jennie asks nervously. "At your favorite spot yea. Jennie adds. "Jennie I." You begin to say but Jennie interrupts you. "Please y/n I miss you and i know we've had hard times and fight or didn't end good but please." Jennie looks at you with hopeful eyes. "Yes Jennie, I'll go out with you." You say. Jennie almost jumps up and down in excitement. "But." "Only to talk." "And to eat of course." You say to Jennie. "That's fine with me." Jennie says with a big smile on her face. You can't lie that you do miss that adorable smile of hers or her company. "Ok well I'll let you go have coffee with your friend." Jennie says happily and gesturing to your best friend. You giggle a bit at Jennie's foolishness. And you wave her bye before she leaves the store. As you have coffee and talk with Giselle about work, all you could think about the encounter that happened and what's to happen tonight.
