Lullaby

You've been tossing and turning for the last 3 hours and you can't fall asleep it's useless you think to yourself. You open your eyes and sit up to see Jennie asleep peacefully. You decide to just go downstairs to watch tv til you sleep. But as soon as you get out of bed Jennie wakes up. She rubs her eyes and sits up in bed. "What are you doing up?. Jennie asks her voice groggy. You freeze standing there as you been caught. "I was just going downstairs to watch tv." You say quietly. "You should be asleep not watching tv." "Now come back to bed." Jennie says while patting your side of the bed. "I can't sleep that's why I'm going downstairs." You say. You decide to stick to your plan and begin to leave the room. But Jennie grabs your wrist to stop you. "Baby don't go downstairs." "I'll feel bad that you're down there by yourself and sleeping on the couch." Jennie says. "I don't want to disturb you though." "Just go back to sleep." You say trying to pull away. "No." "I'm not sleeping until you're asleep." Jennie says sternly. Before you could say anything else Jennie yanks you into bed and tucks you in. "Jennie as I said I can't sleep this is useless." You huff out. "Shh baby just close your eyes." Jennie says as she begins to play with your hair as your head lays on her chest. You close your eyes trying to relax and let slumber take over. Jennie's starts to hum a song quietly. "I really like it

"I love you and me dancing in the moonlight nobody can see
it's just you and me tonight." Jennie sings quietly. After she realizes you're fully asleep peacefully she smiles to herself and kisses your head. "Goodnight baby, sleep tight my lovebug." Jennie says as she gets herself comfortable to fall asleep. Didn't take her long especially feeling better about having you sleeping next to her safely.
