season 5 episodes: 1 & 2
Remi sat in her living room, watching Cobra Kai's commercial. It had barely been a week since the All Valley and Cobra Kai has already started to grow. Remi turned the tv off with annoyance.
She grabbed her phone sending another text to Miguel. He wasn't answering her, or anyone for that matter.
Remi was worried about him, being in Mexico all alone. But Carmen had told her than Johnny was going to find him and bring him back, so for now all Remi could do was wait.
It was officially summer and Remi had gotten through her first year at a new school. She was ready to just kick back, relax and have a good summer with her boyfriend and friends.
Remi was back at Miyagi Do with Eli, Demetri and Sam.
"Everyone, gather round." Mr Larusso called, and everyone lined up. "It's great to see you all back here. You know, we had one goal going into the All Valley. Beat Cobra Kai. We walked away with a first place trophy thanks to Eli."
Everyone cheered, Remi smiled up at Eli shaking his arm a bit as people clapped.
"As far as the rest of the tournament, well, it just didn't go our way. We said we'd close our dojo if we lost. And...that's exactly what we are going to do. As of today, I am shutting down Miyagi Do Karate." Mr Larusso said.
Remi wasn't surprised, it was part of the deal. Plus Mr Larusso told her that he was going to follow through with it.
"What?" Sam asked.
"Wait, Mr Larusso..." Eli spoke.
"I know that's not what you were hoping to hear, but with everything going on at Cobra Kai, continuing to operate Miyagi Do only leaves a target on your backs. Guys, I have to keep you safe, okay? Just remember what you've learned. This dojo may be closing, but Miyagi Do lives inside each and everyone of you still." Mr Larusso said.
"Great! Guess i'm getting a summer job." Demetri said.
Everyone started to leave, Sam stayed behind to talk to her dad.
"Hey, real quick before you guys go. I know it's kind of a drive but the Bobby Wasabi dojo is open to all of you. I talked to Rudy and you guys are welcome there anytime. Even for just wanting a quick spar." Remi told the group outside of Miyagi Do.
There was a mix of nods and "Thanks Remi" as everyone went their separate ways.
"Well I better start looking for a job, I'll see you two later." Demetri said to Remi and Eli.
Eli grabbed Remis hand as they walked to his car, "Look I know we are all stressed about Miguel and stuff. And now that it's summer and we don't have Miyagi Do anymore, I was kind of thinking about going down to Seaford for the weekend, to help take my mind off of things. And I was wondering if you maybe wanted to come with me."
