season 5 episode: 8
Daniel had came later that evening with Johnny to tell the group about Silvers plan.
"Wait did you say he's planning on competing at the Sekai Taikai?" Remi asked, making sure she heard Daniel correctly.
"Yeah, do you know about it?" He asked her.
"I don't just know about it, I've competed at it." Remi said.
"You've competed at the Sekai Taikai?" Miguel asked. "Yeah, when I was still at Bobby's. We've been competing there for the last 2 years. The Bobby Wasabi Dojo are 2 time champs." Remi said to the group.
"Which makes you a 2 time champ." Demetri said.
"Yeah I guess. I mean Jack has won both years, Kim and I each won one year. We were hoping to see who would be the winner this year but that's not exactly gonna happen now."
"This is good, you know what the judges are looking for. You can help get us in." Johnny said.
"Oh i'm not just gonna help you guys get in, i'm gonna be competing with you guys." Eli smiled at her, "Wait really?"
"You're officially gonna join our dojo?" Sam asked.
"I think it's about time. And there's no rules that say I can't compete so I'm in."
Mr Larusso talked a bit more about the tournament but Remi wasn't listening. If Silvers trying to compete at the Sekai Taikai that means that Kai will be competing. And that's when it clicked.
"Oh no." Remi said, not realizing she had said it loud enough for everyone to hear.
"What's wrong?" Robby asked.
"Remember Kai, Jacks cousin. Well the first time we met him was our first year at the Sekai Taikai. He was competing for another dojo. Long story short he cheated and had people attack Jack. Jack found out it was Kai that set it up. Kai attacked Jack which resulted in Jack almost falling of the ledge of the Great Wall of China and Kai actually hanging off the wall. Jack pulled him up but then Kai attacked him again. Jack knocked him out, and Kai was banned from the tournament. He shouldn't be aloud to compete, which is why he went to Cobra Kai. He knows that Silver can get him back in the competition. Kai wants another go at Jack." Remi said.
The worry in her eyes transferred to everyone else in the room.
The group met back at Miyagi Do the next morning. Remi was in the middle of stretching when Miguel, Eli and Robby walked in.
"Did you catch that video I sent you of last years Sekai Taikai?" Eli asked Miguel.
"Who knew people could kick that high?" Miguel said. "Or that hard." Robby added.
"I'm guessing you saw the video of Jack?" Remi asked the boys.
