5 & 6

So much had happened the past couple days.

Sam, Anthony and Mrs Larusso went to Ohio for a couple days, Sam didn't say why.

Remi had heard through the grapevine that Stingray was back, she still wasn't completely sure who he was.

Robby and Miguel were busy, Remi didn't know what exactly they were doing but all she could hope was that they were getting along.

And her friends back home were getting ready for their big tournament coming up. It was going to be their first big tournament without Remi.

Remi felt guilty. Extremely guilty. She had just possibly put someone in danger and she didn't even know it.

The anxiety was building, so when she had gotten a text she knew she had to take things into her own hands.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" A voice asked her.

"Absolutely, it's time that we both demand answers, so we can finally put an end to this."

Remi walked into the prison, Tory by her side. Ever since the night of the All Valley the two had been in contact.

Tory had told her that she was going to talk to Kreese and that they had a plan. Remi told her that she wanted to help, she wanted to help take down Silver for good. Even if it meant going behind her friends backs and working with the man who ruined their lives.

"Everything was supposed to be better after the tournament. But it's only getting worse. I'm becoming someone I don't wanna be. I'm hiding the truth from someone I care about. I'm lying to someone I fear." Tory said.

"I'm going behind my friends backs, my boyfriends back. I'm delivering anonymous notes that could put people in danger." Remi added.

"There must be another way. Or at least somebody else out there who wants to be in this fight. Just tell us there's an endgame to this! We need to know that it's not all for nothing." Tory said.

"There is an endgame kids. Silvers going down. Only he doesn't know it yet." Kreese answered, a smile on his face.

Remi had planned to never go back and visit Kreese. It was only supposed to be a one time thing. But after hearing that Mr Larusso was seriously hurt by Silver, she knew she had to go back.

"Kreese, your granddaughters are here." The guard said.

"Hi grandpa." Tory said as the two sat down.

"Hi granddaughters. How'd our little sting pan out?"

"Not the way we hoped. Sensei Silver didn't even bat an eye. He's just focused on expanding the dojos." Tory said.

"That's unfortunate. Is there something else?" Kreese asked.

"Yeah, Mr Larusso got really hurt. Because of us, because of me." Remi answered.

"Well that's one enemy gone."

"How could you say that! Mr Larusso is just trying to do the same thing as us." Remi said.

"Look Ms Santiago, I know you care about Mr Larusso but he's just collateral damage, just like everyone else. And when I get out of here, I'll take care of the other enemy."

"You don't care about what happened?" Tory asked.

"He was a means to an end." Kreese answered and Remi filled with anger.

"Is that what we are?" Tory asked. "Of course not. You and I are the only ones who can trust each other. I'm still not sure if I can trust Ms Santiago."

"Same goes for you." Remi said.

"So how much longer do I have to stay at the dojo?" Tory asked, Remi could tell she was worried. Remi placed her hand on Tory's, giving it a comforting squeeze.

"I know how difficult it is to be behind enemy lines. But I need you there a little longer. I got a plan to get out of this place." Remi didn't like the sound of Kreese being out of jail.

"You do?" Tory asked.

"Yeah, I'm gonna play the good soldier, which is what I need you to do. So do whatever Silver says, but keep your eyes and ears open, both of you. Now he's smart, but he'll slip. And that'll be the opening that we need. Can you guys handle that?"

"Yes Sensei." Tory said. Remi just nodded, Kreese was in no way her Sensei.

The two walked out of the prison and into the parking lot, "I'm sorry about Mr Larusso. I didn't know that was gonna happen." Tory said.

"It's not your fault, we just need to hurry up and get rid of Silver. I don't know how much longer I can keep this from my friends."

Sam texted Remi saying that they need her to meet them at Miyagi Do. When she showed up everyone was there, including Robby.

Sam said that her mom was on her way with her dad and that they had to convince him to join them in taking down Silver.

"Where were you this morning? I called but it went to voicemail." Eli asked as they waited around.

"Sorry I went out for a run, I silenced my phone so nothing could distract me." Remi answered.

"Oh ok, I was worried that maybe something happened. You normally always answer or at least call me back."

"I know, my mind was just somewhere else this morning but i'm good now."

Remi turned to see Demetri, "Hey I haven't seen you in forever! I thought you were gonna be at the water park." Remi said.

"I was working. I've actually been working a lot this summer, since karate was on hold. But it looks like it's making a comeback." Demetri nodded at the door, Sam, Robby, Mrs Larusso and Mr Larusso walked out.

"You're not alone anymore. So what do you say dad? Will you fight?" Sam asked.

Mr Larusso looked around at everyone there. The group bowed to him, Johnny and Chozen. The three bowed back to the group.
