***RANSOM POV***

"Why are we here?" I asked my friends as we walked into the strip club. The cocktail waitress came over and placed her chest right in my face as she took our drink order.

"Ransom you need to loosen up." Simon, my one friend said as the waitress walked away.

"I just don't see a point. Different strip club but same boring cocktail waitresses, same boring strippers we have all had more than once." I said.

"Please loosen up. Get a private dance later. I mean come on." Lincoln, my other friend said.

Horrible friends really. We grew up together and went to school together. They were always around since our families always threw the same kind of parties and always around. There was silence amongst the group as the waitress brought us our drinks. She slipped me a cocktail napkin with her number and name. I rolled my eyes and tossed it on the table as she walked way. My eyes were glazed over not paying a bit of attention to anything going on.

"Please welcome to the stage Lucky!" The announcer said and I just sighed looking at my watch. I stood up.

"I'm out guys." I said after downing my glass of whiskey. I looked at the stage as I went to leave and stopped in my tracks. My eyes watched the figure in front me dancing and stripping to Pour Some Sugar On Me...my guilty pleasure song. The song she played for me always put me in the mood. She had on a wig but the book tattoo she had on her hip that only I was supposed to ever be able to see was showing. This made me clench my fists.

I sat back down and watched her strip. My fists kept clenching when I watched men reached for her and toss money at her. I hated this, I wanted to kill them all. I watched her crawl to the edge of the stage. She got on her back and arched, rolling herself over and humped the floor and I growled clenching my jaw.

"Fucking hell..." I groaned to myself watching her move around and I saw a guy reach for her and touch her ass.

"Hey! Hands off!" A bouncer yelled. The guy removed his hand but tucked money in her G-string she had on. She did a little shimmy and removed her bra and that when I saw the clover pasties covering up the nipples. I got up from my chair once she was done and I walked over to the bartender.

"How do I get a private dance?" I asked.

"Tell me who you want handsome. I'm also available..." She said and I sighed shaking my head.

"I want Lucky." I said and she nodded.

"Our most popular...follow me, I'll show you to her private room." The bartender said and walked down a dark hallway and opened a door.

"I need your credit card handsome. Do you need the list of pricing and what can be done?" She asked.

"No, I just want her the rest of the night or the longest I can have her." I said.

"You can have an hour. That's the longest." She said and I groaned.

"Fine, an hour, I don't fucking care about the price." I said and she nodded.

"Okay, I will send Lucky right now. Just remember the main rule. Hands off." The bartender said and walked out. I just sat down and waited for her to come in. I heard her voice outside the door talking to bouncer and my heart leapt into my throat.

***NORMAL POV***

Once I got backstage my manager came walking back.

"Lucky, you got a private dance!" He said and I groaned as he walked out.

"Damn girl that's like the 7th one this week. What are you doing in that room?" my friend and fellow stripper Ivy asked.

"Just my job, making men happy." I giggled as I pulled out a black lace bra and panties set covering it up with my silk black robe. I made sure my hair looked good and I walked out towards the back rooms. As I reached my private room, all the girls had their own I saw the bouncer standing outside.

"Hey Big Mike." I said and he smiled.

"Lucky, I love the hair." He said and I smiled running my fingers through the wig.

"Wanted to switch it up." I said and he smiled.

"You know the rules, you feel uncomfortable, hit the panic button." Big Mike said and I nodded. I walked in and before I saw the man sitting on the couch I turned on some music and took off the robe.

"I'm Lucky..." I said as I walked over to get a glass of water from the pitcher.

"I like the name Clover better." I heard the voice say and I stopped all movement. I turned around and saw him sitting on the couch. Ransom Drysdale, my ex-boyfriend. It had been a year and half since I heard his voice, or even seen his face.

"Ransom..." I said.
